“There is seemingly no way to cancel or reschedule appointments through the patient portal, nor is there any way to dispute a bill through the portal. The system is incredibly difficult and not patient-friendly. They have also rescheduled appointments without notifying patients until after hours, when an automated service calls to confirm the appointment. By the time you discover the change and try to call the office to cancel or reschedule, they are already closed for the day. Yet somehow, if you need to cancel an appointment within 48 hours, you are charged a $100 fee. Apparently, patients are expected to know exactly what their schedules and circumstances will look like two days in advance. Emergencies happen, life happens. Work situations change. Not everyone can predict what will happen 48 hours from now. I have no problem looking for a therapist elsewhere. The lack of communication, flexibility, and basic customer service is extremely disappointing. Patients should not have to jump through hoops to manage their own appointments or resolve billing issues. Absolutely horrid service.”
