“I’ve been using lifestance for years and this experience completely disappointed me. I was hospitalized a day before my appointment so I couldn’t make my virtual appointment the next day as I suffered a life threatening emergency. Lifestance requires you to cancel at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you don’t, you’re considered a no-show and per their policy you will be charged $125! My husband is also a patient of lifestance and when he attempted to log on to his virtual visit, the audio on his therapist’s end was not working properly. Instead of rescheduling they also charged him a $125 no-show fee. Upon trying to dispute this, they refused to refund him as well. This is a complete rip off and unacceptable. People are already going through enough with their mental health and to be charged $125 is insane! Never again”

“My first appointment with Dr. Gary was excellent — she was patient, understanding, and made me feel completely comfortable. However, my first therapy session was disappointing. The information I was given didn’t sit right with me, and I left feeling concerned rather than supported. It really discouraged me from wanting to try another therapist. Great provider in Dr. Gary, but the therapy experience definitely needs improvement.”
