From the beginning when I contacted the office to schedule an appointment to see one of their psychiatrists, all the way to the actual appointment itself with the therapist. Just great service all around. Also, I have to give a special shoutout to Dr. Eliza Griffin, my therapist, for giving me even extra time on top of the designated time for my scheduled visit as she was attentive, listened to every detail I told her, was very welcoming and receptive to the topics I discussed with her, and I honestly can’t wait to see how the future visits to her office will be like. “I finally chose a place to seek help for my ADHD and anxiety that I have been struggling with for years. I was told by the psychiatrist that I just “thought my symptoms were from my ADHD because I am anxious due to just having a baby”. She also recommended that I take a break from obtaining my masters degree and focus on taking care of my baby and then things would probably be better. Then she said that there was only one medication available for anxiety treatment due to me breastfeeding, which I stated multiple times that I am not breastfeeding. I also explained that I had taken this medication in the past and that I had horrible side effects from it. It is very discouraging that it took me so long to seek help and that this is the experience that I had.”
