What patients say on Google
“Do not waste your money seeking help here. I asked for a letter for an ESA for my service dog that is fully trained, and I got this unprofessional highlighted template with no signature from my psychologist. I also asked my psychologist to fill out a form that was sent to me from an apartment company so that I can get an apartment and she refuses to sign it. No communication regarding why she can’t sign it. I even verify to her that this form came from an apartment company that I was planning to rent. They’re bad at communication. I addressed this issue on more than one occasion. Then they call weeks later or days later for that matter and still the matter doesn’t get Resolved. I literally just received a call for a follow up after I already Sent a letter explaining that I will no longer be utilizing their services. Straight unprofessional. They’re supposed to be helping me heal, not causing more anxiety. So don’t waste your time here.”
“I signed up was given a rate for copay, 8 weeks later, rate went up, they backed billed me the new rate. Now it's not in my budget, but I remain here because I like my therapist. I work, im a caregiver, own a home and have a family. I have an emergency and I called Monday morning 8A to cancel Wednesday appointment because of my heating unit need to be serviced and they charged me $100. LifeStance lack of transparency, unforgiving policy for emergency makes me feel that im in a penalized position with them. Emergencies happen and 48 hours is not forgiving. I'm penalized because the office was closed, not that I knew, but regardless of me trying to cancel and reschedule on the portal they want to charge me. Im not sure if I want to continue service with this company. After reading YELP reviews, it seems that several former and current patients has issues with LifeStance lack of transparency, unforgiving cancelation, and billing issues.”
“My therapist & counselor are great. But, the ridiculous sign on practice EVERY week you're required to sign on for my video session is a lengthy process. It causes me to have anxiety answering questions needed for a new patient. How can I get better with this HORRIBLE experience every week with my counselor and the monthly visit with my psychiatrist??? It affects my mental state answering ALL those questions repeatedly! How am I to get better, if I feel antagonized and grilled with anxiety dredging my visit?? IT SUCKS!!!!!!”
“I had ni issues at all, not even one, as I only made the initial inquiry with my health insurance, and they handled everything else.”
