“Lifestance is the best mental health care organization I have ever worked with! The staff is very friendly and helpful whenever I call or message them. I have been a client for 2 years. I am deeply grateful to my PCP for referring me. I love the telehealth option. I see two medical providers at two locations. Neither is very convenient for me to go to since I don't drive. I would have to take either a city bus or an Uber to get there. Neither one is very appealing. My first therapist left the organization. We connected so well, and I truly grieved. I was certain I would never find another therapist I clicked with so well. I went without a therapist for 3 months, and that was a big mistake. I was a hot mess! I finally called, and they matched me with a therapist based on my needs. Turns out we connect very well, and she is amazing! I enjoy our sessions every week, and she has made herself available for a second session during a week when I really need it. Another great example is that after a few months with a psychiatrist, I didn't feel any connection, and I was uncomfortable each visit. I called Lifestance, and they matched me with a new doctor, and I love her! I appreciate their support and dedication as I navigate this wild and upside-down world we live in. Unfortunately, they do not accept my husband's insurance. I know that has to be negotiated with the insurance company, and it doesn't always work out. “Do not waste your time here. I doubt she will see this as Dr. Shah told me at my first appointment that she doesn’t read her reviews and doesn’t care what patients say. Believe her, because it shows. She insisted on formal testing before any ADHD treatment and gave me four providers to choose from. I waited a month to see one of them. That provider evaluated me, said full testing wasn’t necessary, diagnosed me with ADHD, and told me Dr. Shah could start treatment. I waited another week and a half for the follow up. She showed up to the virtual call without having read my file, refused to accept the diagnosis from the provider she referred me to, and told me to go do the full testing anyway. Three months, zero treatment, no explanation, no bedside manner. If she doesn’t trust her own referral list within lifestance, patients shouldn’t trust her process.”
