What patients say on Google

“Dr Yousef actively listens to me and I never feel rushed or misunderstood. My health is important to him and i feel he is not just "filling prescriptions" or "going through the motions". I feel well informed as he explains medication and options clearly. I feel he has a broad, thorough understanding of mental health care. Im better for having him for my doctor.”

“Mary was a great listener and was able to give me a response to every.issue. She also asked questions I didn't even think of about my health. She explained the purpose of each medication and what affect it will have on me. I was very pleased with her. The best thing about Mary is that I felt heard and she didn't rush my visit . That's rare anymore. Very pleased!”

“My provider is great. I followed her from a previous place to continue to manage my medications and I’m so grateful that I did. She’s genuinely concerned and attentive to my emotions and mental health. 10/10 I would recommend Lifestance and my provider to someone if they needed psychiatric services.”

“I have been seeing Lisa Alicea since February, I will NEVER recommend her to anyone who is part of the LGBT+ community. Lifestance was recommend to me to get a WPATH complaint letter. From day one I told her I was there for a letter for gender affirming care; to which she told me she would look into. My second appointment came around in March, to which she tells me she hasn't had time to look into it. And reminded her that I am just here for my letter to receive proper gender affirming care. I went yesterday and that was my final straw. She asks me how my transition is going. I tell her I sent her the sample letter, to which she couldn't access for some reason. She tells me she spoke to her higher up and they said "We don't write those letters." Okay if yall don't write them; why waist my time, money and gas? I tell her outright, that if she can't I will find someone who can. To which she started off with she was going to try to write it out herself, then said "I was hoping to put off writing the letter." She is not LGBT+ safe. And this has caused me to have trauma. I tell her the steps I have to take to receive my care, and she tries to see if someone else can do it instead. She puts it off, and hopes to delay my surgery. That is predatory and disgusting behavior. If you are looking for gender affirming care, Lisa Alica isn't the therapist you want to be paired with.”
