After a trial for a number of meds and thorough discussion of my symptoms, together we thought outside the box and attempted another medication that has thus far shown promise. Though my therapist’s focus was on medication management and not counseling, she provided some very helpful insight into life issues along the lines of Cognitive Behavior Therapy that resonated with my own training.
