How likely are you to recommend LifeStance Therapists & Psychiatrists Grovetown?
What patients say on Google
“I absolutely LOVE the NP I see, but I had a medical emergency, called them a day and a half before my appointment time to reschedule, the receptionist was callous and rude on the phone and said “It’ll will still be $100 cancellation fee because it has to be 48 business hours to cancel.” I tried explaining that this emergency happened over the weekend and there was no way that I could have known that I would need to cancel on Thursday of last week. She said “it will still be $100.” I asked how to check with the provider to see if they would be okay with me completing my appointment from the hospital. She said “use the portal, have a good day” and hung up the phone. LOVE my provider, don’t like the practice.”
“Dr. Stewart Shevitz is a very good listener and has a kind demeanor. I feel he truly cares about his patients well-being. I’ve been with him for three years. He is the only provider that I’ve seen at life stance, but my experience has been very good.”
“I must say I’m a little bit disappointed. I came there for help and met a Dr. Niles that was less than helpful. I was really trying to give it my all, but he showed his true colors when there was a misunderstanding about my appointment time. I thought it was at 10 like the previous week. They said it was at 9. I wanted to at least speak with the office manager, but Dr. Niles made it very clear that he has no room for misunderstandings. There was also a lack of caring in his voice that made me realize that he’s definitely not the right person for me. He said that there was consequences for my actions, but there was no consequences for the person receiving the message, not getting the information. I let him know I was not there to argue, and wanted to come find a middle ground, but I felt like a further conflict was coming and proceeded lean towards the door. After staying very calm the entire time I was asked to leave which made things even more aggravating. For a place that seems like they’re there to help, they didn’t want to find a compromise or a better solution to the problem. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who was legitimately trying to get better. Additionally, he was late for his appointment between five and 10 minutes. *****************UPDATE****************** As directed, I responded with a email as directed and was never contacted. Even if they still felt that I was wrong, some type of follow up or accountability would have been nice. This just proves what I stated before. They don’t care.”
“What started out awful then became great then it was awful again. My first Dr was very rude and then I received an amazing doctor or so I thought until she didn’t follow through on what she said she’ll do as it relates to completing paperwork. Then was told that I couldn’t receive my paperwork until my balance was paid which was previously under review. Extremely shocked, disappointed and upset about how poorly they treat their patients.”
