How likely are you to recommend LifeStance Therapists & Psychiatrists Chesapeake?
What patients say on Google
“I worked with Dr Quanda and Griffin and she shows no empathy in any of our sessions. No one did she smiled to me, she looked so frustrated and kind of a person that hates the place where she works at. This place doesn't seams to have records of what medication prescribed to you or what is your history that has already discussed on previous appointments. Every appointment she will asked what meds i was taking, and why i was there, and didnt even receive or review any test results that they actually sent for me to be done. They are totally lost at this office. They cancelled my appointment twice and no email or text notification was ever sent to me. Worse place ever.”
“This was my first experience with LifeStance. It was a tele interview and I had the pleasure of meeting my provider Chandra Short. I immediately felt comfortable talking with her from our initial introduction. She was super nice and our interview was great! We truly established a great patient and client repor. This repor is not something you feel after your first interview with a new provider. If you are looking for a new provider contact LifeStance and ask for Chandra Short. She is awesome!!!”
“At first I really liked Lifestance. I liked how easy it was to join therapy and Psychiatry. My psychiatrist Dawn W was amazing. Now, I've cancelled all upcoming appointments. On October 2nd, I got charged almost $200. I called Lifestance to see why I was getting charged that amount because I've never had to pay for anything. They told me that my insurance is a co-insurance (which is incorrect) so I would need to talk to my insurance. I called my insurance, and they let me know that Lifestance submitted the claim wrong for Oct 2nd, they submitted it as a "normal health situation" and not as "mental health," so I asked of them to resubmit the claim, and pause the payment so I wouldn't get charged almost $200 for no reason. A few days later they still tried to charge me anyways, obviously it declined because I didn't have $200 in my checking account. I then called Lifestance to inform them of the situation again, and asked for the charge to be put on hold. Somehow they couldn't find my account, I gave them the correct spelling of my name, and my birthday, they said they would call back and never did. Today I called again to get an update on the situation and the girl I talked with was just rude so I ended up hanging up on her. As someone who's been struggling with mental health for years, I am fed up with this.”
“I should’ve listened to the other reviews with similar stories. Faith Williams was a fantastic therapist that I saw for about 6 months. I had to reschedule an appointment with more than 24 hours notice but since their policy is 48, I was charged the cost of 4 appointments just to reschedule it. Lifestance is a poor practice with great personnel unfortunately. I am incredibly saddened that I can no longer see my therapist without risk of being charged such crazy fees for a first time reschedule after 6 months. They have replied to others on here seeming like they’d do something to correct it but they haven’t, they’re still treating people this way. They just threw away someone who was going to be coming back for a long time just to get a one time money grab. The receptionist told me I couldn’t get a one time courtesy because she would get a demerit.”
