What patients say on Google

“My provider, Geneva Viviano, suddenly informed me that she could no longer continue treating me because she lacked experience with one aspect of my medication management. I understand that providers must recognize the limits of their expertise. However, this information had already been documented in my chart and discussed with her months earlier. At that time, she said it was not a problem. During our most recent session, she changed her position, raised concerns about continuing my care, and ended treatment without a clear transition plan or referral. I now have approximately two weeks before I run out of medication that is essential to my mental health, recovery, focus, impulse control, and daily functioning. Nearly two weeks ago, I filed a grievance and requested a callback from a supervisor to help coordinate a transfer, ideally to another LifeStance provider. Despite repeated calls and multiple messages from the front desk, I have received no response from a supervisor or clinician. Being left in limbo also makes it difficult to pursue outside care because I still do not know whether LifeStance intends to reassign me internally. I have already spent hours contacting providers through my insurance directory and encountered long waitlists, distance barriers, and complicated intake requirements. The uncertainty has caused severe anxiety and physical symptoms. Meanwhile, LifeStance’s hold messages repeatedly emphasize how much they value the patient experience. Leaving someone worried about losing access to essential medication for nearly two weeks, without a callback or transition plan, does not feel caring or supportive. I am posting this because my repeated calls and formal grievance have not resulted in meaningful action. Once/if they are, I will amend this review to reflect how my case is handled. Update: After 2 1/2 agonizing weeks, I’ve been switched to a new provider, and won’t have a lapse in my medication. Have updated the review to reflect that. Update at 4 weeks later: bringing down the star-rating again as the provider they found for me doesn’t take my insurance, even though I was previously reassured that she did. Now I’m back in provider limbo.”

“I’m so grateful for my therapist Kimberly. As a faith-based counselor, she truly understands my spiritual foundation and meets me right where I am. She is incredibly warm and grounding, and I always leave our sessions feeling steadier and encouraged. She has shown deep compassion as I navigate anxiety, PTSD, and chronic illness, and she has also been such a supportive voice as I prepare for my upcoming book. I feel genuinely seen, heard, and uplifted every time we meet. Scheduling through LifeStance is simple and convenient, which makes everything that much easier. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for faith-based counseling rooted in empathy and encouragement.”

“So when I started I had already tried a few therapists in the past, but I always found them to not be a fit, and hard to find those with availability. Lifestance made it really easy to read information on available therapists, including specialties and what they were like as a person to make sure it was somebody I would be comfortable with. I quickly found Taylor, and she has been amazing. I can see the differences in how I react to situations, and utilize the techniques she taught me every day.”

“My Christian Therapist is so so understanding & helpful. She tells me sometimes about her own experiences, so therefore it is true that she understands. Her name is Debra & I'm so thankful to have been connected to her. Thank you Lifestance!! Debra is rare & a keeper!!! ❤️”
