“My experience has not been great with the NP I saw, particularly the lack of attentiveness to getting medication filled. My medication showed that it was on hold for days, and they said it was because they were waiting for the prior authorization. When I messaged her about that, she asked me which medication it was for…she was the one who prescribed the medication for me, and it was the only medication. It still took days to get it done. Then the same situation happened again when we were found to adjust a med, and it’s now been over a week since I have been waiting. For someone who made this appointment with a specific purpose of making sure my medications are working well together, I am extremely disappointed and cancelled future appointments.”

“Everyone has been kind and willing to assist me with any issues that have arisen promptly and professionally. I think very highly of Cathy Oplinger. I appreciate her patience, and I don't feel rushed. We can communicate, and I know she diligently listens to my conversation and shows empathy at all visits. I also LOVE that we can do visits online. Since she is at her new location it is so important because I would now have to drive an hour and a half to my visits. I am 65, and this is so helpful, and getting to continue with Cathy is important.”

“This is by no means a reflection of their therapists, who are amazing, and I’ve had a wonderful experience with going on 4yrs. With that said. The business acumen of Lifestance, particularly when it comes to their billing department is absolutely unacceptable, as I have, since the beginning of 2026 dealt with several mismanaged charges to my personal account. My account not only has been charged without my consent while in good standing, but consistently has been mismanaged by the billing department, in charging full rate for my session, without applied adjustments and discounts that have been granted through their programming. When asked to remove my payment method, agreeing to pay in-person at my location, they did not comply, and proceeded to charge my account, AGAIN, at full rate. Without the amazing support I’ve received from my therapist and the continued work and growth I receive in care… I WOULD NOT, receive service through Lifestance. The amount of strain this has caused both financially, and mentally this year…. Outrageous. I’m literally wasting time in sessions, talking about my concerns and frustrations with their billing department.”

“I found this psychiatrist through the Medicare.gov website because I wanted to make sure I could get the Medicare approved rate. The Medicare website only had virtual appointments and many were not located locally. I was pleasantly surprised that this Psychiatrist knew all the right questions to ask and knew a lot about medications. She is also located in an office local to me so that after the initial assessment I can go to in-office appointments or virtual - my choice. Billing has yet to arrive. I hope to continue in person with this psychiatrist if billing is not convoluted or too expensive.”
