What patients say on Google

“This place charged me $70 for an appointment I never scheduled. I called them to address. They showed no appointment scheduled, but never returned my money. Now I have to cancel my credit card due to fraudulent charges. If you go here, do give them your credit card information. They’ll charge you whenever they feel.”

“Don't even waste your time if you're a new patient. I sent all of my information over - insurance card and license about a week before my apt. I call the day off to check with everything since I'm a new patient and I think her name is Kate answered. She was so condescending the whole time, said she was happy I called cause they needed more info (not sure why they wouldn't have called me sooner then since I had already gotten multiple confirmation texts and emails saying my apt was confirmed). The lady I spoke to was so unhelpful. She asked me to put a card on file for the apt so I asked if she had an idea of how much it would be with the co pay and she said she had no idea because they didn't run the verification on my insurance yet cause "something was entered wrong" - I sent them very clear photos front and back of card. I told her I didn't feel comfortable having my apt today without knowing what I would be charged and she told me I'd have to cancel my apt then. I asked if I could reschedule to a later date so that they could run a verification for me before my apt and she argued with me and back and forth about how they don't do the verification and I'd have to call my insurance provider before rescheduling with them. Finally she let me know that she needs a card on file to schedule and an apt needs to be scheduled to then do a verification .....confused why I had 5 emails and texts confirming my apt then and no one thought to say anything differently until I called them the day of. She was so condescending and tried to make me feel stupid as if I didn't want to put a card down...that was never the issue she just wanted to argue and not communicate with me effectively. What a joke. and then when I told her that wasn't an issue it was already way too far gone. Not interested in seeing anyone if that is the representation.”

“I have been with Advanced Counseling for many many years before it became LifeStance Health. I was never much impressed until it did change hands. Although to be fair, the front office staff (the receptionist and scheduler) was never anything but kind and helpful. I had some unfortunate issues with the corporate end which I believe was driven solely on profit as I felt unheard and dismissed. My Therapist Melina Shenava has been steadfast throughout my time and I hope to be able to count on her for the rest of my days. Since the change to LifeStance Health, I have been so pleasantly surprised at the positive feel of my experiences on every level. I feel seen and I feel heard and valued as never before. I have had nothing but great interactions with 100% of the team and am so grateful.”

“I'm very disappointed in management since LifeStance took over. No one knows where anyone is, every question is answered with, "I don't know." In one weeks time,.I was scheduled as a.child , then scheduled at different locations two times. Don't get me started on the billing. What a joke. My husband and I are thinking of leaving the practice even though we are happy with our therapists and PA. Lifestance, please remember your clients are reaching out to you for mental health assistance. God forbid, a person who is in a bad way gets pushed around(and ignored like current clients). It is apparent your business is to make money and money alone.”
