How likely are you to recommend LifeStance Therapists & Psychiatrists Atlanta?
“It was good until it wasn’t. The missed-day charges and strict cancellation grace period really changed my experience. There seemed to be very little understanding or flexibility, especially when someone is already dealing with financial difficulties. Because of this, we’ll be looking for another psychiatry/therapy provider. I truly feel this company needs to do better.”
“LIFESTANCE IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. They 100% DO NOT care about their patients. They only give 20 minutes per appointment and then don’t show up after they give you LIFE CHANGING information, and then don’t call you back when they say they’re going to. Avoid if you actually care about your mental health. Update: I find the response interesting since I have still been waiting for a call back from Tren or someone in your corporate office after my lovely conversation with Tristan this morning. She made sure to call to let me know, in short, she was taking no accountability for anything, I should have waited longer, the provider makes their schedule, etc instead of trying to give any solutions or offer a sincere apology. She was more than elated to remove me as a patient, so much so, that when I called back AGAIN 2 hours later to speak with someone, I had already been removed. I find it so interesting that I’m STILL waiting on a call, yet there was no issues getting me removed. And when I asked for my records to be transferred to me, she just passed me off to someone else for them to tell me I needed to call another number. I called the office and asked to speak to a manager, and was assured by the person on the line I was not being transferred to the same person who called me this morning, and sure enough, I was sent right back to her, where she once again told me my perception of how this morning’s call went is wrong (pretty sure that’s MY perception, not hers) and then TOLD ME I was yelling at her and she was going to hang up on me. This is the type of person you employ as a LEAD in your office? They deal with people with mental health issues. We’re going to be distraught, upset, and challenging, but this is the industry YOU all chose to be in. As a healthcare clinic, setting up appointments back to back like that should not be allowed. You cannot say you care for a patient if you either have to cut them off, or make them wait like that. THIS IS NOT A REGULAR PROVIDER VISIT WHICH PEOPLE ALLOCATE MORE TIME FOR. As much as Tristan wants to say it is, these are virtual appointments, it is not the same. This has been a battle for the last two days of which I’ve spoke to countless people trying to get someone who isn’t just an office lead to call me back, so if you’re JUST NOW looking into this, it makes me feel like the internal structure is a little more broken than I thought. Second update: Spoke with Dr. Ruiz (I believe) who assured me he would look for a solution for me. A month later and I still haven't gotten a call back. It's also still been a nightmare trying to get my medical records. TERRIBLE COMPANY THAT SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES.”
“My experience has been a genuinely positive and grounding experience. Samantha creates a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard, which made it easier for me to open up. Her approach is both professional and compassionate, and I appreciate the care she brings to each session. She’s helped me shift my perspective on certain situations in my life and see things more clearly in a healthier way. I’m grateful for the support and guidance..it’s made a real difference for me. ☀️”
“I’ve been with Lifestance Health for a few years and every provider I’ve had is amazing, thorough and has helped me so much in life! I recommend finding a provider through this organization. My only issue has been missing appointments and being charged but that is standard policy and I can’t necessarily knock them for that.”
