What patients say on Google
“Office staff doesn't follow proper procedure in regards to Insurance Claims. Make sure you're staying on top of them. On a positive note. Adam is wonderful. It's just the front office that needs an overhaul. It's horrible, and sad, that they've been hounding me for a $200 balance for years now when it was their responsibility to inform me that after a year of seeing Adam they were no longer in network with my insurance company. Therefore they're trying to charge me as a cash patient even though they collected my $5 co-pay( which there shouldn't have been since they decided to stop taking my insurance ) I wouldn't have kept going there if they had informed me of that. Horrible communication by the front office. On a side note: they're always fussing about something in their personal life as well. Very unprofessional and I'm sure the patients don't want to hear their drama as we have issues of our own. It's supposed to be a relaxed atmosphere. I hope Adam finds another practice because he really is awesome. Either that or replace the front office staff.”
“I saw Scott St Amant (psychiatric NP) for medication management for the first and last time a few weeks ago. When my history of childhood sexual assault came up during intake, the first thing out of his mouth was, “Well, did you file a police report?” And when going through my medical/surgical history he made inappropriate comments about some of the procedures being “aesthetic” and said “so, your husband has money, I see”. Those surgeries were more than 20 years ago and it said so on my forms; they also have nothing whatsoever to do with mental health medication management. He also repeatedly asked VERY invasive questions about my sexual history. He kept wanting specifics and details and when I became uncomfortable and asked why he needed to know these things, he didn’t back off, he persisted. He also ignored my plea to stay off SSRIs due to a history of significant side-effects, and he dismissed those significant side effects as me “just being worried about gaining a little weight”. He was unprofessional, disrespectful, and I left in tears. It was a traumatic experience in the truest sense of that word, and I had to resort to benzos when I got home to calm down. I would never recommend this practice to anyone and I would leave ZERO stars if that was an option.”
“Very happy with our experience so far with Scott. He is personable and thorough and my daughter is finally getting the mental health care and evaluations she has been needing for the last few years. Everyone there has been kind. The office is clean. Staff is kind and professional. We are very thankful to have Lifenet as a resource in our community, I only wish we would have found them sooner!”
“I saw Dr. Adam Allen in 2019. He was thorough and I absolutely loved him. He actually is the first person to diagnose me as OCPD, which summed up my life. Fast forward to 2024 and my son is having anxiety issues. Brought him to Dr. Adam and my son really likes him. I really feel like he is thorough and listens to his patients. I definitely recommend Dr. Adam Allen.”
