What patients say on Google

“Dr. Spishakoff is a great doctor. He truly cares about his patients. If I have my kids with me, he always talks to them and remembers their names, minor thing but it shows he listens and cares. He is always willing to take the time to listen to me and work with me on my treatment plan. I love him, I could not have found a better doctor. I have been with him for almost 10 years now and looking forward to the years to come. He is great. Highly recommended. And the staff is so welcoming and nice. They really are a good team.”

“Stay clear of this man and his practice. He doesn’t deserve being addressed as a “ dr.” I met him while I was in detox Paulo’s north 2 wing. He would come in and purposefully speed up the conversation and not give me a chan e to speak , investing a whole 3 minutes. The part the grieves me the most is that he wouldn’t return any of my calls after I got out. He placed me on suboxone which helped my opaiate cravings and helped keep me clean. His office was unprofessional and would give me the run around ; telling me to call him at the hospital , and the hospital telling me to call his office. I left many messages but no return whatsoever. This guy could give a flip about his clients lives.”

“Dr Spishakoff talks to you at your level - seems like he’s great adapting to eachs personal needs. he asks deep open ended questions that will make you think about your life and some of the details start coming back and makes for a decent experience where you are not rushed (makes the wait times higher but I love it). He did get his PhD in Mexico it looks like and he is seriously the best and most knowledgeable addiction and psychiatry doctor I Have ever heard talk about the subjects and its medications. med Adjustments are key- don’t go too long on the same drugs same dose for mental health - otherwise your life will fall into lazy awkward boredom like everyone else who has untreated mental probs. It’s up to the patient to get out of doctor spishakoff cuz the info is all there but it’s just that you need to open up to him and ask mad questions in order to find out. also wait times are ridiculous so monday later on evening times are best for appts trust in the game plan”

“My mother went to see him after having been in the ED and diagnosed with fluid in her lung and he stood at the front desk and told her to her face that he would not see her because he had no guarantee that her insurance would pay. His name is on her insurance card. And even so my mom told him she would pay him in cash and he refused to see/treat her. I have worked in healthcare my entire adult life and this man is a disgrace to the profession. Grievance has been filed against him with the insurance company. I will be contacting the medical board next.”
