What patients say on Google

“Crisis person didn't want to hear me and is sending to an inpatient facility which won't do anything for me. Told them over and over i will do outpatient and they don't care. And another thing is I came in for a different reason and doylestown hospital isn't and didn't treat me for that.”

“Do not bother calling them. They are useless. My daughter, a social worker, was very concerned about her sister. She called and gave them detailed information. They did come, assesed her, took about 10 minutes, then left without a goodbye. I had to chase them to the parking lot. They could not do anything they said: Since she did not have a release of information and would tell me very little. Since she stated that she was going to die for the past 3 days. There were more than enough witnesses to the statements.”

“UPDATE: The saga continues. After the entire day yesterday leaving with nothing we called individual hospitals to find an open bed since they told us that nobody had an open bed available. Asked them to fax records multiple times and they never made it to the hospitals we asked them to send them to. The people there do not care at all, their communication was terrible. Just everything about this place is terrible. Go anywhere else. This was the most abominable hospital experience I have ever faced. My family member was in a crisis and desperately needed help. She was overtly suffering from severe mental health crisis and nothing was done. We showed up at 9am and left at 8pm empty handed. We were told of a possible room for admission and later that room was denied from us. We were kept waiting in a dreary waiting room with my sick family member completely distraught for the entire time without any help. The communication was abysmal - we never were told what was going on. I finally asked again what we were waiting for only to be told our room was gone. Don’t go here. In fact, run far far away. Even those who are in a healthy state of mind will leave with thoughts of despair and hopelessness. Now I have to see my family member suffer through another night and hope they make it to the next day. Thanks for absolutely nothing.”

“My wife and I were there with our teenage daughter just over a week ago. Our daughter has depression and anxiety. We sat in the crisis center in a small one bed room for almost 24 hours. They let you just sit. They really only came out of if we asked them to through the security officer and then they would forget and would have to be asked again. We would sit 6-8 hours with no contact. The security officer literally showed more interest in our wellbeing and the person next to us. My wife had to sleep on the small bed with my daughter with no further accommodation from them! We wanted a facility outside the city and after 24 hours all they had was a bed in the city. They talked down to us, insulted my wife because she wanted to wait for a bed elsewhere, literally emotionless toward us treated us like we were a bother. They literally said, you can’t expect us to hold your daughter for more than 24 hours for a bed! We asked if we could take her home to wait for a bed to open up elsewhere and told we couldn’t. Back to the bed they found. Unknown to us who finally said ok because they bullied us out of there, it was on the “aggressive unit” at a facility in the city. That’s where they placed our depressed daughter with suicidal ideations that also has anxiety. While on the phone with our daughter there the next day a fight broke out with yelling in the background. After 2 days of further trauma we got her out of there. Lenape you should be mortified of the treatment of your staff and unwillingness to change things. I have read the reviews on here for years and it’s the same copy/paste response. You don’t care and our reviews fall on deaf ears! Please don’t copy/paste your heartless response to my review.”
