What patients say on Google

“This place used to be great, but not anymore. First, my og therapist gets promoted and nobody tells me. I get assigned a new therapist only to be ghosted by them and hear nothing from them. I then go through everything as if I'm a new patient when I've been with them since 2015; do intake and everything. Get a new therapist who doesn't call me back and then guess what? This one ghosts me too! But yet, it's somehow my fault as both therapists and Lenape Valley have blamed me. And I'm pretty sure they delete negative reviews as well. I am so tired of this. People like me need a therapist, but this is how we're treated? It's been months since I've heard from my so-called therapist.”

“I love Lenape Valley Foundation. Wonderful welcoming atmosphere and the most helpful and validating staff I’ve ever met. Fantastic quality of therapy offered. My medications have been adjusted to the point where I feel perfect and I never would have had that if it weren’t for them.”

“This place sucks and it's all because of one reason...you get a good therapist and you have to change around. I have had BAD LUCK with therapists because one would never let me get a word in edgewise and when she knew full well that was a sure fire way to shut me down. I got a new therapist and I only ended up with her for six weeks because she's moving out of state and they have a rule that their therapists need to physically commute to their center if they live out of state and I was seeing this one via telehealth. PA law states as long as you are licensed in the state and have access to a quiet space and a secure portal, you can do telehealth appointments ANYWHERE. Thanks to them not having a proper plan in place for me and waiting until the last minute to throw this at me, I had a relapse. I will be complaining to the PA Department of Health and Human Services. Oh and by the way a generic response does not help at all. And the clinical director did not have the balls to call me back. Yeah you all don't care about your clients”

“I had the worst experience possible dealing with you and lower bucks last night this isn't the first time either. I had my son brought there because he was a danger to us and himself but because he's mentally disabled and not on drugs Noone seemed to give a crap. I voiced concerns prior at his med check when I was given no advice nodda. Then last night after putting him aside for 6 hours we finally get a crisis person. Who continues to ask him questions and interrupt me answering as he's not competent to answer the questions. Then asks my son does he want to hurt himself of course he said no he has no idea what you mean . Then basically talks to me like I'm lieing my son shirt was covered in blood and was cut from a mirror he broke In anger 🤦‍♀️ Unfortunately the past year or so has been hell with him trying to hurt us and attempting to kill himself where he doesn't know what he's doing would be permanent. I wanted him somewhere safe to be able to get a different mediction because my kids are terrified after seeing what he does when he goes off. All I get told was he's not acting crazy he was on melatonin so he was sleepy and we cant help you . I guess when he hurts one of us or himself maybe ull give a crap ....”
