What patients say on Google

“I recently visited Lean on me psychiatry and they exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel at ease right away. During my appointment, my psychiatrist took the time to listen to my concerns without rushing. It was evident that they genuinely cared about my mental health. We discussed my challenges in depth, and I felt heard and understood throughout our conversation. What really stood out was the compassion shown at the end of the visit. As I was leaving, my doctor offered me a hug, which was incredibly comforting. It was a simple gesture, but it meant so much to me in that moment. It reminded me that mental health care is not just about prescriptions and therapy sessions; it’s also about human connection and support. I highly recommend this psychiatrist's office to anyone seeking a compassionate and understanding approach to mental health care.”

“I have been going here for a few years. I love the care I receive is so genuine and has actually helped me so much! The rooms are always nice and clean. There’s typically coffee to drink and nice music to listen to. The provider is so outstanding she genuinely cares about my wellbeing and my life! Wouldn’t have made it this far with out her!”

“The provider at LeanOnMe is genuinely caring and takes a sincere interest in your well-being. When you finally meet with them, you feel heard and supported, and it’s clear they want to help. Unfortunately, everything leading up to the actual appointment is overshadowed by the office’s incompetence. The front office staff is consistently late and unorganized. I scheduled my appointment over the phone, confirmed through their automated system, and then received a “confirmation” call an hour before my visit. When the appointment time came, no one ever called me. Only later did I learn this was due to a copay issue—something that should have been explained during the two calls I made that very same day. When I rescheduled, I specifically requested to be contacted on time. My appointment was set for 9:30. By 9:34 I had to call in myself, only to be told “you’re only 4 minutes late.” I then waited an entire hour until 10:30 before being told the provider was backed up and that my options were 1 PM or 4 PM. At 4, I was placed with an entirely different provider I’d never spoken to, which made discussing sensitive matters much harder. Paperwork is another major issue. This office does not seem to understand the urgency—these documents can determine whether someone keeps their job or can pay their bills. I submitted paperwork, waited a week, followed up, and was told I needed to pay. I paid the $100 fee, only to learn that if there is any extension or correction, they charge you again. To date, I have paid $180 and am now being charged another $150 simply because treatment is being extended. This feels more like extortion than a fair process. Beyond the cost, the bigger problem is timeliness and communication. Even when I provide a week’s lead time, the paperwork is delayed. When I tried to escalate, I spoke with Michelle, the office manager, and explained the situation from start to finish. Midway through, she interrupted to ask questions I had already addressed. When I expressed that I didn’t feel she was listening, she accused me of “berating” her and threatened to disconnect the call. I never cursed, insulted, or raised my voice—I simply asked to be heard. In summary: the providers themselves are compassionate and professional, but the office leadership and staff are disorganized, dismissive, and exploitative when it comes to paperwork fees. The inefficiency and lack of respect from the office side completely undermine the quality of care offered by the providers”

“Dr. Atima is amazing! She has done real good with the medication I love it. She’s sweet, kind, and caring. Very great bed side manners. She is always there for me she loves her patients. She is definitely not in this profession for the money. She is very good and I love her so much.”
