How likely are you to recommend Lansdowne Mental Health Services, PLLC?
What patients say on Google
“I have been seeing Dr. Chitlu for almost 10 years and highly recommend her. She also treated my child when he was on meds from age 10-15 and was wonderful with him too. She is very thorough, asks questions to understand all aspects of your life to best treat your symptoms. I never feel rushed during my appointments and she is always open to discussing any ideas I have. She provides thorough answers to my questions and takes time to explain why things may or may not work. Office staff is very responsive with refill requests and they are usually sent the same day. Overall - great experience here.”
“To those who are struggling with neurodivergence and looking to start as a new patient, you will want to seek assistance with their intake paperwork if you wish to see a provider here. This office employs a questionnaire that will challenge and frustrate you, making seeking help an even harder experience than it ought to be. First you will be contacted to set up a portal. Do not hang up with them until you confirm they have your account set up correctly, otherwise you will lose additional time trying to get back in touch with them to sort it out. Once in the portal, the forms are redundant and overwhelming (not all of which are required or applicable but yet they're all assigned to you), the format is overstimulating, and the questions are not cleanly written nor are they well tailored with neurodivergence in mind. After intake you may then make an appointment, however their appointment software is difficult to maneuver and you will likely have to go back and forth with multiple calls to reschedule and correct your appointment because the system was not intuitive for their team and they may incorrectly book you for the wrong appointment type and need to reschedule. Trying to work through this during a neurodivergent shutdown was too much and I ended up seeking services elsewhere. Additionally, this business does not appear to have a commercially registered business line. All calls with this office registered as spam on my phone and they do not have a voicemail system properly set-up, causing me to feel hesitant with trusting them any further with my sensitive medical information. This is likely a small thing, but when added with all the other frustrations of booking I just could not feel confident proceeding with this office. While I cannot speak to the providers, service starts with intake and this intake was not user tested with psychiatric conditions in mind which can be expected for other services but not for a mental health service office.”
“I have been a patient of Dr. Chitlu’s since July of 2023. She is like no other psychiatrist I have seen. She is involved, participates in active listening. She gives feedback on your strengths and provides advice on your challenges. She truly cares for her patients and loves what she does. She is a big proponent in taking health insurance. She truly makes you feel that your time with her is all that matters; she focuses solely on you and finds a a medication regime that works for you. To her office staff: especially Heather. She is a joy to see every time you walk in. She is friendly, caring, and helps you with whatever you need. Her turn around time for questions and emails is impeccable. This is truly the best office for seeking mental health help. If you are apprehensive or just don’t know where to start. Please give them a call. They have changed my life more than I can ever put into words. Make the call and start taking control of your mental health. It’s worth it.”
“In all my years of struggling with my mental illness, I have never found such a kind soul in Dr. Chitlu and so knowledgeable in her field of expertise. I feel and know I am in good hands and trust Dr. Chitlu and her entire team. I've been through many of doctors and feel like I have finally found a psychiatrist who understands my illness, my needs and how to get me back on the right path. I hope to stay with Dr. Chitlu and her team for years to come. Many thanks for all your care, support and Patience!!!”
