What patients say on Google

“I wouldn't say that BHDS is all that terrific, but they're just OK. My current case worker is nice, and he usually gets back to me, when he is able to. I know I'm not the only one on his list, so... ...I understand that part of it. I will say however that the loss of the remaining two stars from this review are absent due to the fact that this agency really isn't too good at returning a client's phone call, which could be extremely frustrating--and could aggravate our issues, which we are afflicted with. And it is that last part of the review which I think needs badly to be adressed, chiefly worked on, and improved upon.”

“I'm still with these people through the Mental Health Court. They give information out about me to whoever knows my information. 2 different phone numbers that are not mine. Unbelievable how this plays with you mentally. I really haven't been able to sit down and talk to my case worker for probably over 15 months. HIPPA privacy violations to the max. Go to complain about this situation and totally get ignored. Screw the Mental Health Court and the BHDS for the ignorance you'll put me through. Down right disgusting, ignorant people.”

“Lancaster BHDS is the best I have ever had since moving from Delaware they are very kind, compassionate and caring and they care about peoples needs and concerns. I was assigned to case worker named Leslie Nissley when we did the in client paper work together in her office I was blown away I immediately felt very comfortable and close to her then I ever felt with any caseworker I've had. I do respect that she has a lot of other clients beside me and she does her best to to answers your calls and gets back to you as soon as she can she's the best.”

“Have been supposedly working with them for the past several years. Case manager called once after each discharge from the hospital, this time also bombarded me with a texted list of irrelevant resource links, and then dropped me completely. I can not process this stuff on my own due to mental illness. Now I've been living in a storage unit for (Edit:) 4 months now. They aren't doing anything to help me besides tell me *I'm* being difficult because my only viable method of transportation is walking. They're not supportive. I'm not entirely sure what they even do, but they're not doing it.”
