What patients say on Google

“Awful experience. Besides what the previous reviews state about poor communication. I would like to add the following- 1. I dropped off 2 sets of clothes for my loved one and she only received the shoes and one shirt. 2. I was told that my loved one would be given meds to bring home after check out. Didn’t happen. 3. They spelled my loved one’s name wrong when they sent the prescription, instead of taking ownership the social work manager told me that we must have given the wrong name. 4. I was told that my loved one would be referred to a provider that accepts our insurance. In fact I was told that they would do the research and find a provider. In the end the provider did not accept our insurance and Lancaster BH Hospital refused to offer assistance. 5. Their website is not very helpful and when I drove an hour to visit my loved one I discovered that there are visitor hours. I asked why this information is not in the website, I was told they have 6 different facilities so it’s too difficult to put it on the website. Overall, it’s obvious many of the employees do not respect the patient or their families. The gruff and unhelpful attitude from the employees demonstrates this fact. Good luck navigating your care after discharge. They just want the insurance money. Patient care is secondary, possibly tertiary.”

“One of my loved ones is in there now. They are great to him. He loves the food, the nurses, the doctors, the environment. It is a great place to help when the world has failed you.”

“If i could give this place zero stars i would. This place deserves to be shut down. The staff are disrespectful, unprofessional & neglectful. They don't return phone calls, they make you wait a week before even giving you your own personal clothing. They don't give you meds to help with head injuries such as staples. The staff be on their phones , making fun of patients. They don't even let you have visitors until just about the time of your stay is just about up, they give you false info. They treat people like animals instead of people with feelings. The Therapists try to tell you how to feel and make it seem like you can't feel mixed emotions. they starve you and don't give you thick enough blankets to stay warm. its freezing in there. The list keep going but like i stated before, this place is not worth it.”

“This place is horrible, they push meds rather than getting to the root of behavior issues, denys access to the individuals and are never available to answer questions. We are talking to our lawyer and have a great law suit. Just so everyone knows, the child in question admitted to her dad and doctor she lied completely and only played on these "professionals" for the drugs and access to a now ex., also because they refused to read her files, she now is out there...no future. Hope they can li e with the lives they destroyed.”
