What patients say on Google

“I was referred to Lamb Behavioral. I was very excited to start therapy, but the receptionist was very unpleasant. For starters, she didn't make me feel welcome over the phone; she sounded as if she didn't want to be there, like she was just worried about money/insurance. There was no real engagement or concern about why I was joining, nothing about their Therapy sessions, how it works, or anything. I ended up working an overnight shift and missed my First telehealth call. I asked to reschedule, and she specifically told me, “No, they usually don’t reschedule missed telehealth appointments because it shows that you are not committed to therapy” and made it seem like it was a really big deal and a hassle for her to reschedule. It was her demeanor and the way she said it. I feel like this was very unprofessional and is turning away potential new clients, especially when someone is trying to reach out for help. I will be letting the referral office know about my experience. DO NOT RECOMMED!!!!”

“I had Dr. Jimenez who is no longer around. With her I had a caring person who related to my problems and tried to form a genuine connection with me, and the treatment I had here was focused and effective. However, I will not be back. I used to sometimes show up 5 minutes late or so to appointments sometimes due to the commute. The people at the front desk said that they would have to charge me money. So I paid the late fee, but after the second time I realized the wording was weird. So when they charged me the third time, I said "do I have to?" And they said no. That kind of interaction leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It feels a little deceitful, and is not the kind of interaction I want to have with my therapist. So, I left, and I won't be back. But the care I had here was genuinely amazing.”

“Dr.Lamb is amazing at what does. My daughter actually looks forward to going to therapy. But they usually have a great receptionist, except today for some reason whoever answered the phone was completely rude, disnt listen to me at all and hung up on me”
Caitlin Ward
“Extremely long wait list to be seen over three months for a child in need of talking to someone -lady who answered the phone was also very rude and unfriendly. Will see if my son gets an appointment sooner but will also look around for other options.”
