“This place almost killed me in 2024. I had a stroke and was ripped off of ssris due to Serenronin syndrome. I was in the hospital for 17 days when I was told I would have to be monitored after being ripped off of my medication. I had severe akathesia and it was brutal. The staff made me wait while I could barely stand. As soon as I got to the hospital they did a rapid benzo taper , because I was given such high doses in the hospital. And the doctor and his assistant who was nothing short of a crazy lady . Tried to put me on migraine medicine and buspar. Which both cause Serentonin syndrome. They were clueless. Insane and the beds and food were horrific. You pay to get well. And leave more sick. Please do not trust these people. They will rapid taper you pff a benzo. Read rhe ashton manual or the maudsley manuals and you will know this is not safe at all. You will suffer. And for doctors yo gi e patient medicine that could cause another SS episode pr a stroke. Neglected. I have all my records and I am in the midst of filing a lawsuit and suing. They were raided in 2019. And from what i understand . After so many complaints. They will be raised again”

“Let me start by saying that they helped my family member out tremendously and when I spoke with them after their release and I could hear in their voice that they were happy and feeling relieved with a refreshed mindset. On the other hand the staff is absolutely in need of customer service training on the phone. I left a poor review with a nasty note prior to this rating because of how poorly those people treat you on the phone. They have zero empathy and lack any smile in their voice. I would give less stars but I can see that someone/s did a great job rehabilitating my family member. They even told me it was hit or miss with who you got. Either you got someone happy or someone jaded and salty.”

“I admitted myself to the ER for anxiety and depression due to recent health diagnosis and I was sent here, this would be the absolute last option I would ever choose. Believe all of the reviews because so many of us lived it for days (and yes I know it's a mental health facility so it will get "bad reviews" but this place was just insane) and it was more traumatic then needing care in the first place especially if you CHOOSE to make that choice for yourself.I got placed on a floor that was for the angry, violent, risky, and extremely dangerous people with three staff members asking why I was placed there to begin with due to just being there for anxiety. One of the patients made me very uncomfortable several times by harassing me due to having interest in me and the staff members did nothing. After two days me and several others were moved to the correct floor all sharing the same experience of how traumatic it was being placed there in the first place due to under staffing. I have POTS (postural orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) which requires a lot of care and watch and all of the staff but two could have cared less. I fainted in the shower due to the extreme heat that's uncontrolled and wasn't found for over 5-8min and then to be told to stop crying and it's just my anxiety once the nurse finally came to my room and was extremely dismissed and felt scared for the lack of care. I had to rely on another patient that knew what POTS was to watch over me when I laid myself down in the day room to faint after lunch and I was there several minutes in front of everyone only did they notice when I came to and asked her to get a nurse to take my BP. They did not provide anything to manage my health condition not even something as simple as a Gatorade. They were out of so many basic supplies for every day needs. Especially if you came in with no belongings you were screwed. They didn't keep a consistent schedule with medicine or what they had plastered on the wall and it was taken out on us if we were late to meals due to them having conversations. I feared for my safety and health there especially if it would have been an emergency. You are not updated on what's happening when you will see anyone and even if you do it's very inconsistent. Another patient had to threaten lawyers to leave then they wanted to get in gear and discharge her after her 72hrs were up. Many of us were scared we wouldn't leave. My husband was not updated what so ever the entire time I was there but a simple phone call in front of me two days before I left and then no more again. He called several times and was told over and over a doctor had to call him and the doctor never did. He was my main person for contact and I even signed a release form so I didn't understand that at all. There was many times we wouldn't even get to leave the hall for food which would drive anyone insane being locked in a small area. I didn't even see a proper group for help until my third day and even those were lacking highly. All of that said just don't go here if you get a choice. The patients themselves were the only great thing we helped each other more than the staff did by listening and understanding and watching out for each other which you should never have to do in a facility to help others. I would be absolutely ashamed to work at a place like this.”

“I went here when I was 14-17 and it was not a bad experience AT ALL. I wanna give a BIG shout out too Mrs.kim who worked on the adolescent unit very short blond hair! She saved my life EVERYTIME I came here!! She always respected me, and made me feel like I had something worth living for. The group were fun they made it enjoyable . Always took us out. Listened too me 24/7 and helped with my needs! And helped me ALOT through all my trauma. Gave me the strength too report my rapiest and they helped out with doing so as well. I’m 2 years sober now thanks too the rehab they sent me too.”
