What patients say on Google

“I have been a patient at Lake Effect Healing for the past 3 years, and my experience has been truly life-changing. Jennifer has not only helped me successfully maintain my weight, but she has also taken a comprehensive approach to my overall health. She consistently monitors and manages important aspects of my care, including my labs, blood pressure, and sleep apnea, ensuring everything is well-controlled and addressed. I appreciate her thoroughness and the way she looks at the full picture of my health rather than just one issue. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for holistic, attentive, and effective care.”

“My experience with Jennifer Evans was frustrating and unprofessional. After the initial visits, medication management became extremely brief and felt largely perfunctory. Rather than meaningful follow-up or assessment, I was typically asked only whether I wanted to change anything, which did not feel helpful or collaborative. Her punctuality was consistently poor. She was late for almost every virtual appointment, and I often had to reach out first to confirm whether she was coming. Although I consistently made the effort to contact her when she was late, that same courtesy was not extended to me. When her appointment reminder system showed the wrong time zone and caused me to miss part of an appointment in good faith, I was still charged a missed-appointment fee. Between that and the repeated 30-day follow-ups for very short visits, the experience felt more like paying repeated co-pays for minimal care than receiving meaningful medication management. I would not recommend this provider to someone looking for reliable, respectful treatment. == Edit #1== Adding a reply to the owners response == Owners response completely sidesteps several key concerns I raised. The reminder system—time zone configurable on their end—emailed a reminder displaying the incorrect time, causing me to miss my appointment. As someone who works a lot, I relied on the information provided in good faith. I was still charged a missed-appointment fee, though my credit card company reversed it once I provided the evidence. If policies are meant to be enforced consistently, the same standard should apply when the provider is repeatedly late without communication—I contacted Jennifer every time she was late, but that courtesy was never extended to me. Even after working together long enough to establish a stable medication regimen, I was still required to attend 30-day follow-ups that never lasted more than five minutes and felt extremely rushed. There was little meaningful engagement, no pertinent questions about my actual progress, and no real clinical value to justify the frequency. The overall pattern made care feel transactional rather than collaborative. == Edit #2 == Adding reply to the owners *modified* response == It's worth noting that the owners response has been modified after my initial review to include new points, whereas I've only added transparent addendums to mine. If the goal is accuracy, it would be helpful for future clients to know which specific parts were changed and why. I do agree I have not seen Jennifer in over a year, but that's precisely because of the issues I described—I stopped services due to her repeated lateness, rushed visits, limited to no professional input, and transactional feel. My hesitation to post this review earlier was out of respect for my wife's ongoing care there, but she terminated services with Jennifer this week after finding a MUCH more qualified provider. She experienced the exact same issues—lateness, minimal engagement, and unnecessary frequent visits—throughout this past year, which confirms this wasn't an isolated or outdated problem. That timeline directly contradicts the claim that my concerns "do not reflect [their] current processes." If anything, it shows the pattern persisted. I'm happy to discuss privately, but public transparency matters when patients need to make personal care decisions.”

“I recently had an IV Hydration Therapy session, and I’m thrilled with the results! It gave me a noticeable boost in energy, significantly reduced my muscle pain, and sharpened my focus. This experience was a 10 out of 10, and I’ll definitely be making this a part of my monthly self-care routine. Highly recommend! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. My clinician was informative about my treatment and made me feel listened to and heard. My questions and concerns were answered and put at ease. I’m excited about my journey to better health. Thank You Jennifer!”

“Lake Effect Healing is amazing; The staff are very professional; personable; attentive; and thorough. From day one, Jennifer and her MA took the time out to get to know me and my goals; she wanted to treat the whole person; she wanted to get a base line; a history. The treatment style and products that Lake Effect Healing endorses are amazing. I have found tremendous results with working with Lake Effect Healing and Jennifer and her staff. I encourage anyone who has a goal of attaining more energy; whom needs to enhance their memory; or if you need to loose weight; Please inquire with Lake Effect Healing; You will be pleased with the results. The business and the staff are "A-1" they check on you weekly; encourage you to reach your goals; and equip you with other resources to assist with learning how to maintain wellness. Again, I cannot say enough positive words about the professional that Jennifer and her staff are in providing this services for this community and surrounding areas. Thank you for taking the time out to educate me on my wellness goals and continuing to educate and encouraging me to push further. I wish you continued success with your business.”
