What patients say on Google

“Jennifer Williams and Anna Reyes-Crawhorn are amazing in every way. I never have to worry about not being heard when I'm with them. They ask the hard questions and important follow up questions every single time and work so hard to understand and help their patients. I'm so thankful I found them. I've had nothing but positive experiences with them. I would recommend them both a million times over.”

“If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This is one of the most damaging and unethical medical experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I declined medication-based treatment, the dynamic changed completely. I felt pressured, unheard, and dismissed. Care felt conditional instead of supportive — compliance over compassion. I had a standing appointment I never missed. I was asked to change it for another client’s benefit — I agreed in good faith. The new schedule quickly became difficult for me, which I communicated. I have severe ADHD, and this was acknowledged by staff. I was told they would try to switch me back. Instead of support or accommodation, I arrived for my appointment and was informed I had been dismissed from the entire practice — no prior notice, no discussion, no transition plan, no referrals, no continuity of care. Since then, calls are either disconnected or transferred without explanation or even a greeting. There is no communication, no professionalism, and no accountability. This experience made it clear that patient-centered care is not the priority here. Support, understanding, and individualized treatment are not part of their culture. People are treated as appointments and billing entries, not human beings. If you are vulnerable, neurodivergent, struggling, or looking for ethical, compassionate care — be very careful choosing this practice. What I experienced was abandonment, not healthcare.”

“This one star is not for Lake Behavioral as a whole. I’ve spoken with many employees across different departments and have always been treated with respect and understanding. This rating is strictly for APRN Jimmy Smith. My experience with him was extremely disappointing. He was rude, dismissive, and showed no genuine interest in what was actually best for my mental or physical health. The only thing he repeatedly emphasized was that he has “22 years of experience,” yet he never asked meaningful questions about my life, my family, or my history. He didn’t listen when I tried to explain my concerns, made unnecessary insinuations about addiction issues, and failed to order important labs that were needed. Lake Behavioral does have many great providers with solid reviews, but based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding Jimmy Smith. Thank you”

“Terrible organization, they get a one because there isn’t a zero, which is the amount that they helped us. We waited the appropriate amount of time and the counselor cancelled on us the morning of due to “not being able to take family cases anymore”. After complaining about that and asking for a new counselor, they gave us one that was worthless. Would NOT recommend them at all.”
