What patients say on Google

“I became a patient of Kindril Climer in 2024 after moving from Chicago back to Tennessee. At my initial appointment, I explained that I had been stable for three years under the care of a previous provider specializing in addiction and recovery. My primary goal was to continue the treatment plan that had supported my long-term sobriety. I offered to sign a release so Kindril could speak with my previous provider and review a multidisciplinary evaluation documenting my diagnoses and treatment recommendations. She declined, stating those records were unnecessary, and instead recommended blood work before considering continuation of my existing medications. After completing the requested blood work, Kindril informed me by email that she would no longer treat me due to unspecified “safety” concerns. She provided no meaningful explanation, no referral to another provider within the practice, and only a nonfunctioning Psychology Today link. I felt dismissed and stigmatized despite my lengthy sobriety and established treatment history. Finally, I became aware that Kindril operates a separate holistic health business outside of LifeStance. On one publicly available social media video, she appears to wear a wig, have concerning eye-movement and humorously consume an unspecified quantity of gummies while discussing sleep. Those gummies were never identified as melatonin, CBD, THC, or anything else. I found the video inconsistent with the emphasis on “safety” that was used to justify ending my care. I recognize that any provider has the right to decline prescribing medication they believe is inappropriate. My concern is not that Kindril declined my medication request, but that she declined to review relevant prior records, ended care without meaningful transition or referral, and left me feeling that my history of recovery was viewed through an unfairly suspicious lens. Coupled with her platforming jokes about overdosing, it signals a lack of judgement, care for those in recovery, and concerns about her own mental state.”

“Kindril provides experience and she cares about her clients, she is also super responsive!!! I was surprised how quickly I was matched and that they accepted my insurance! I definitely recommend her for all of your mental health needs. She is very easy to talk to, very engaged, and has a ton of resources to offer as well. I have bounced around between multiple providers and now with Lifestance I can get it all here. I was especially impressed with how quickly Kindril and I built a rapport and started gaining trust! She quickly identified some changes in my meds and always checks in to see how things are going and responds quickly to any needs, I can’t say enough about her, she’s genuine and isn’t trying to schedule tons of sessions unnecessarily she tailors your care to your needs and listens to what you feel and need!!! Definitely recommend”

She is compassionate, non-judgmental, and meets clients exactly where they are with both her expertise and genuine care. It’s easy to see that she truly has her clients’ best interests at heart, and that shines through in every interaction. She has been a lifesaver and I highly recommend her! 🧡”
