“I reached out to this facility for mental health services on 3/16. Madison emailed me back on 3/18 and stated they are 2-3 weeks out in wait time. I said that’s fine and yes I’ll wait. My insurance doesn’t kick in until April 1st (which is what I put on the documentation on their request form) Madison emailed on the 19th and stated my insurance provider said it’s not active yet, I said I know it will be by the time I have an appointment/services. Never received a reply. I emailed again on 3/25 and asked if someone was going to reach out to me to schedule and it’s now 3/27 and still no response. I would suggest looking elsewhere since they clearly only cared about payment which would’ve been available at the time of services.”

“I cannot comment on the level of care offered at Kindred Harbor because these folks took weeks to respond to my initial intake, and I moved on to another, more responsive therapy group. After the initial intake with Jennifer (who is amazing) I waited through the Thanksgiving holiday and remained patient as I’m sure most therapeutic offices are busier during the holiday season. Two weeks later, still no response from Kindred Harbor even after reaching out to Jennifer twice to see what the status of my intake was. A simple email or phone call stating “we are working on it” or some acknowledgment of receiving my intake and working to match me with a therapist would have been acceptable and given me the assurance that progress was being made. Over three weeks after the initial intake I finally get a call from someone wanting to schedule, unfortunately I’ve already moved on to a more professional group who respond appropriately and move the process forward with adequate communication and care.”
