“If you’re looking for a place that is easy to continue to use in, keystone retreat is that place. Groups 7 days a week 9-4, usually sitting in silence on your phone is how the format goes. Don’t bring anything nice because the staff there likes nice things and believe they are entitled to clients belongings. Black mold in walls. When it rains you will get wet even if you are inside. Bedding is reused when one clients leaves and a new one is expected. If you’re seeking treatment for the right reasons. Go anywhere but here”

“I’m 25 y/o. This is my 4th rehab. I’ve been seeing a lot of the recent negative reviews about Keystone, and honestly I think some perspective is needed. I’m not saying Keystone is perfect. No treatment center is. There are going to be things that frustrate you, policies you don’t agree with, staff members you don’t click with, and days where you’re going to be upset. That’s part of being in treatment. 🤦‍♂️ What I do have a problem with is seeing people absolutely trash this place when from what I can tell, they haven’t experienced other treatment facilities to have anything to compare it to. I have. And Keystone is in a completely different league from ALL of the other places I’ve been to and heard about. A lot of people seem to expect rehab to be a hotel where everything happens exactly when they want it to, every staff member agrees with them, and nobody ever tells them something they don’t want to hear. That’s not treatment. Sometimes the structure, rules, and accountability are the exact things you’re going to hate while you’re here, but they’re also part of what makes the place work. I’m not blindly defending Keystone or pretending everything has been perfect. But I can separate “I had a bad day” from “this place is terrible.” Those are two very different things. The staff have genuinely cared about the people here. I’ve watched people come in completely broken and leave with a legitimate chance at getting their lives back. I’ve seen staff go out of their way for clients, even when those clients probably weren’t making it easy. If you’re considering Keystone, don’t let a handful of angry reviews make your decision for you. Read them, sure, but understand the context. Especially when some of the complaints are coming from people who seem to have very little experience with treatment outside of this facility. Is Keystone perfect? Absolutely not. Perfect doesn’t exist. Is it the best treatment center I’ve experienced? Without a freaking doubt. I came here to get better, not to be catered to. And for that purpose, Keystone has given me a heck of a lot more than I expected.”
