“Only giving two stars for the wonderful therapist my kids had here and for the wonderful receptionist and staff. We had numerous unenjoyable experiences with Margaret and I felt uncomfortable every appointment with her. I was told that in order to continue there we couldn’t see an outside psych doctor even though she’s the only provider who sees children and only works one day a week at this location. Really urge people with any sort of medical ptsd or trouble advocating for yourself/ your children to stay away.. I felt triggered consistently by their provider. They would offer solutions such as my daughter’s therapist being a part of the psych appointments yet didn’t follow through or the possibility of being able to see an alternative provider just to be told that it wasn’t possible after all. Now I have to find a new therapist for my kids after they already had trust and a good relationship built with one at this facility. Be aware.”

“Requested medical records on 4/9/26, have proof of fax confirmation. Called to check status on records request on 4/29/26. Office manager Domonique said she didn't get it. Email request again direction to her. Called to check status on 5/6/26. Waiting on provider. Called to check status on 5/27/26, stated will send by end of day. Did not happen. Called to check status 5/28/26, transferred to voicemail. Front desk unaware of their supervisor's schedule. Filing complaint with MD HEAU against practice for non-compliance with record release time line”

“Became a client at Key Point in 2021 after the death of my husband. Treatment started out okay but in the last year has deteriorated dramatically and very quickly. The so-called Christian counselor that I had was okay and in a decent mood until I really started struggling emotionally. All she ever spoke about was "be positive" but she was not the one suffering the losses, the crippling health issues, and the complete financial destruction that I was going through. Instead of being supportive when I became incredibly discouraged she developed an attitude and said "if you're going to be negative there's nothing I can say". Not the way you're supposed to deal with someone that is struggling emotionally. When I called and spoke to her supervisor Mildred, I was told Shari was not really a counselor she's there to help more with things like filling out paperwork or obtaining a ride to an appointment. Thus the reason appointments were only 15 minutes in length. The financial assistant Kristina stopped communicating with me completely right smack in the middle of what was supposed to be the assistance of a Medicaid spend down which she had no clue how to do and therefore dropped my case. She never did help me choose the Medicare Part D as she said she would and never took the case into Social Services as she said she would. She just dropped everything with no explanation as to why. When I spoke with Mildred about the situation I was told that it became too complicated and Kristina wasn't aware of that when she started this. Yes she was. She's been working with me for over 2 years she knew the situation she's been aware of it since May and was supposed to look into it and how to complete a spend down. She never did and she never got back to me. Mildred consistently made excuses for Shari the counselor and for Kristina the financial advisor or assistant whatever her title was. So when your supervisor does not care the people under her are not going to care because they are working according to the standard they are under. I contacted them yesterday by text to terminate all future care with them. They are unprofessional, unreliable, they lack compassion, respect and they are untrustworthy. If a person and the people in that organization, do not honor their word they are not people of integrity and they are people to stay away from. They are deceitful. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. They should be under disciplinary action and they should be closed down because they are taking advantage of a population that is fragile and depending on them. When things get tough or when things are inconvenient they have no struggle with dropping you, not notifying you, just turning their back and walking away. Not only is that behavior ethically wrong it's wrong because they're being paid to do a job they refuse to complete. Never again.”

“Key Point has always taken care of me and has very kind and understanding staff. Their front desk knew my name after just one visit. I've made a lot of progress under their supervision. Great people. I'm even driving all the way back to them after moving farther into the city. They're worth it.”
