“We were scheduled for a therapy appointment at 12:00 p.m. and completed all required documentation two days in advance. We were notified by text that our insurance was not accepted (which we actually Already knew, but the documentation was required to be filled out anyway) and I responded the same business day (by 3:45 p.m.) confirming we were okay with the out-of-pocket rate. Despite this, the appointment was canceled without waiting for our response, when the default should have been to keep the appointment unless told otherwise. Communication was limited to text, and I was unable to reach anyone by phone (Including the intake coordinator, Stephanie, even though it was During her state phone hours on the recording) despite calling multiple times. At $180 A private pay visit I would expect better Communication and somebody to at least answer the phone. We’re very disappointed and will continue our search for a therapist who better meets our needs.”

“I had been going to Kendal Clinic for about a year. The first clinician I had was good, but I reached a threshold of what I could get out of the sessions, and she also moved out of Kendal Clinic. At first, the next clinician I was assigned seemed professional and a good advocator. However, after a few sessions, I realized she was charging me no-show fees for sessions incorrectly and pivoted email communications out-of-context to build her case to charge me inappropriately. This clinician failed to communicate with me on these charges transparently (or at all) and only spoke to her internal staff without discussing this with me. This clinician would also change, cancel, or not attend our appointments frequently. However, no accountability was taken on her part. The billing and other staff have also been challenging to work with.”
