How likely are you to recommend Kelly A. Ickes, PsyD?
What patients say on Google
“Can’t recommend Dr. Ickes enough! She truly listens to understand, and professionally guides clients develop and follow through strategies for healing and growth. Where other mental health providers I’ve worked with have been either unprofessionally casual or unprofessionally cold, Dr. Ickes brings both to her stellar bedside manner. Get ready to feel empowered and supported to heal and grow.”
“I have had the great privilege of working with Dr. Ickes for several years. Under her care, a lot of healing has occurred. I have grown exponentially in terms of personal growth, maturity, coping with my mental illness much more effectively, and through using spirituality (for me, Christianity) to advance morally and ethically. Dr. Ickes has helped me to become increasingly educated about my mental illness in such a way that I can have a much higher quality of life than before we started our work together. We problem solve relationship issues and weigh decisions. She has helped me transition into a new field of work that I find tremendously fulfilling. My family supports me in seeing Dr. Ickes weekly because she helps me to live so much more effectively and successfully. This makes life more pleasant for everyone I interact with. I look forward to teaming with Dr. Ickes for many years to come.”
“Dr. Ickes is a great doctor, and a great person. I have been a patient of hers for many years and I would recommend her to anyone. She has helped me manage my problems, learn to be more comfortable with them, and set goals to move forward despite them. While working on the day to day issues is how we spend most of our time, we also talk about long term goals and what needs to be done to reach them. After a year or so she recommended seeing a psychiatrist for medication. I was hesitant, but the two of them have worked together and it has made a positive difference. I have seen several therapists in the past but have always quit after about a year. This is the first time I have been this comfortable with a doctor and I feel lucky to have found her.”
