What patients say on Google
“Therapy has never come easily to me. My mindset was always, “If I’m having a good day, why go sit and dig up the hard or sad stuff?” But once I realized I couldn’t fully process or make the changes I wanted on my own, I knew I needed support—and finding the right therapist took time. I don’t necessarily look forward to sessions, but similar to going to the gym, once I’m there—and especially once I leave—I’m always really glad I went. And that’s because of Kaitlin. Before finding her, I came from an experience where I often left therapy feeling more traumatized, judged, and not taken seriously. With Kaitlin, it’s been the complete opposite. From day one, her space has felt comforting and safe. Her energy is grounding, her patience in listening to my very all-over-the-place ramblings is unmatched, and she has an incredible ability to meet me exactly where I’m at on any given day. During really tough seasons, I actually find myself eager to talk with her—for perspective, coping tools, reassurance, and everything in between. I consistently leave sessions feeling supported, understood, and more equipped than when I arrived. I truly cannot recommend Kaitlin enough.”
“Leaving a review like this proves difficult, because it’s quite emotional for me. Mental health issues are very serious, and the treatment should be taken seriously as well. When I started my counseling journey with Miss Incorvia, I felt it was a match made in heaven. As my journey progressed, I soon realized that my therapeutic process was not as “heavenly” as I thought. My therapy sessions were supposed to be an hour long, and yet they were 20 to 30 minutes if I did not want to do any reprocessing, which she recommended as part of my treatment. My schedule began to change because of work, and it proved difficult to make it to some of my therapy sessions. In the two years she managed to change locations two times, and I followed her to both locations. Last December, she kind of dismissed me as her patient citing that she was “changing her hours”, and quickly recommended another therapist who I knew nothing about to take over my case. That’s not how to transition a patient of record to another therapist. I got a “I wish you well on your journey, and it was a pleasure working with you” text message. I did not receive a phone call to ensure that I was not in crisis. It was very hurtful, but I was lucky to find a psychiatrist who I now see on a weekly basis, and I am blessed to have find a practitioner to service my mental health need/s. Sometimes as a practitioner you do things in a manner that’s unprofessional, and this review only to bring about change. Going forward I hope no one else receives the treatment I received, and that they get the hour long process in lieu of 20 to 30 minutes of therapy because they are not “reprocessing”, or following her methods of therapy.”
“Spectacular, skilled, kind and empathetic therapist. I love the work I have done with her and the progress I have made. 100% recommend”
