How likely are you to recommend Journey Psychiatry & Behavioral Health?
“I used my health insurance to make the appointment with a provider who i selected by their bio on headway. I was called by the receptionist at the selected appointment time, asking me to switch to a different provider because she had others with the experience I was looking for. She scheduled me with Ana. I waited nearly a month from time of booking to the actual appointment. First thing was the audio feedback on the video call. I suffered through it because once could be a fluke. I come to my second appointment with Ana. I was told to pull over if I need to take the appointment, since I was driving home, I did pull over and load the video call. Waited 5 minutes and the video call automatically disconnected. So I started driving home since I was so close. Half way, Ana called me asking me where I was in regards to my appointment. I told her I would load the video in 2 minutes when im home. She asked me how long. I said two minutes, again. I arrive home and shift to park and load the video. She asked me 3 times "where I was," after telling her 3 times that I was at home, I turned the camera to show her. So, we finally get to the appointment and the audio feedback is obnoxious and terrible for my focus. I express discomfort and ask for a way to fix it. She tells me to restart the video. I do. No improvement, because she has her audio unrealistically loud and its not a technical problem. So I express discomfort again She suggested I load from a computer or laptop. This means leaving my car and going into the house, loading my laptop, which I couldn't get into my email so I called her back and told her to forget it. She didnt want me to be charged without service so she agreed to call me, which still had audio feedback. It was easier to ignore on the phone. Her suggestions and advice were subpar. "Let them" theory, people change. When she couldn't come up with answers, she changed the subject. I did not realize until after I canceled my follow up appointments that I was scheduled with an intern. Ive been in therapy for nearly 15 years, different types but nonetheless I am versed how good therapy should go. I was seeking help for specific issues to help me in my life and the entire experience had me nearly melting down with a provide who sat there refusing to help. It was almost like she was trying to cause me a problem with the intention of upsetting me and me not coming back. If that was the goal, it worked. It really sucks because there are people on this team who do specialize in what i was looking for and now im left figuring it out myself, after months of trying to find someone to help me. Thanks for the hassle.”
“I would HIGHLY recommend Journey Psychiatry & Behavioral Health. My family has been working with them on and off since they opened and have never experienced a group pf people who are more genuine and really care. I personally see Rob Brady for medication management (owner) and so does my son. He is so great and really listens and cares. He always tries a holistic approach before dumping drugs down your throat. I am also going through Spravato treatment with them. My son and I both have separate therapists there. I have Zendi who is just the right fit for me. Laid back and very kind. My son see's Daniel who is awesome! Very down-to-earth and understanding of the things my son struggles with. Overall, I would recommend this practice to anyone looking to feel like a person and not a number....and they have a very nice office with a nice waiting room, up to date on everything and very clean! Thank you, Journey Psychiatry! Allison Quinlivan”
“I'm lucky enough to be able to have a psychiatrist and therapist also a EMDR theripst in the same group. They and myself all work together. I have Sarah Miller, she has hung in there with me. She has checked in with me on her off time during an episode. She never pushes meds. She always ask how I feel about meds. I've in 25+ years had a Dr work with me like this. I never feel like she's discounting me. She really truly cares. Then there is zendi ruggles. She's my therapist. Honestly, she pulls stuff out of me no one has. She knows the right questions. She spent over 2 hours trying to help me get in a facility. She has a softness but she gets the job done Lol I recently had an episode. I got mean and nasty to both of them. They didn't make me feel worse about it. I was embarrassed fory actions. They kept me. I'm so thankful. There's 5 families of mine that drives 45 minutes to so we can go to journey.”
“Robert Brady is absolutely the best! I completely recommend him to everyone. I was having dilibating difficulties for many years until I began to see Robert Brady, I feel so so much better with my home and work life, it is AMAZING. Rob Brady is kind and understanding and I have felt comfortable with him ever since the first appointment. Also, the staff at Journey Psychology is the best and they do their very best to help in every way! Thank you Rob and I also thank your staff, who both have been especially patient with me.”
