What patients say on Google
“I began treatment with Dr. Joni Orazio while I was still a college student. During the course of my care, I was diagnosed with depression and ADHD and prescribed medication intended to treat that condition. However, I later came to believe that this diagnosis was incorrect and that I had been significantly overmedicated as a result. The excessive medication regimen had a substantial negative impact on my health, well-being, and overall functioning. As my condition deteriorated, I was ultimately referred for inpatient psychiatric treatment. While I was hospitalized, Dr. Orazio terminated our physician-patient relationship and discharged me from her practice without notice. I was not informed of this decision directly. Instead, notification of my dismissal as a patient was sent by fax to the inpatient facility where I was receiving treatment. Learning that I had been dropped from her care while hospitalized was both distressing and disruptive, as it left me without continuity of psychiatric care during an especially vulnerable period in my life. The fact that this woman is still practicing psychiatric medicine is disheartening. Run far, far away from this doctor and seek advise elsewhere.”
“Dr. Orazio is a compassionate and skilled psychiatrist. She provided much-needed supportive care and guidance for my child. I trust her judgment and believe she makes decisions with best interest of her patients in mind. Her knowledge and experience brought peace of mind to us, which was especially important during a challenging time. Her top-notch staff members are kind and professional, instantly putting us at ease.”
“Dr. Orazio is (and has been) a beacon of hope. She has the education, experience, skill, and perception to guide patients to wellness. Her staff is unfailingly kind and efficient. Attention to the needs of a patient is the hallmark of the entire office. Dr. Orazio has the comprehensive knowledge necessary to diagnose an issue and the means to foster a happy outcome. She is both professional and incredibly kind. I recommend her absolutely without reservation.”
