That level of attentiveness matters more than people realize, especially for someone navigating mental health struggles and trying to rebuild stability. There have been moments where she related to me on a personal level when she absolutely did not have to, and that spoke volumes to me as both a patient and a person. It made me feel heard instead of dismissed. Jenny Yancey is compassionate, knowledgeable, careful, and incredibly professional. It is rare to find someone in this field who combines genuine empathy with a strong understanding of medication management and patient care the way she does. “Lifestance is great and my Psychiatrist is amazing! The fact that I can do my visits from home is so convenient. My only gripe is that messaging system needs some work. I sent two messages and they went to everyone in staff. There needs to be a better system, maybe an option to choose my psychiatrist. I can select an ongoing threads from the page, but under stress, that can easily slip the mind. It’s not a major issue, though. Im not leaving four stars because this issue doesn’t affect my rating.”
