“I would strongly caution anyone considering this provider, particularly anyone who is vulnerable or relies on consistent medication management. After only three introductory visits, Jen abruptly decided that we were “not a good fit” and terminated care. The reason, as I experienced it, was that during one appointment I had an unexpected, genuinely time-sensitive work issue arise. I apologized, explained that I needed to handle it because my job was at stake, and took responsibility for the interruption. Rather than responding with any understanding or empathy, I was met with hostility. She abruptly ended the call. What happened next was especially disturbing. The following week, I was simply told that she no longer believed we were a good fit. I was understandably upset as patients seeking mental health care are putting themselves in an inherently vulnerable position. Basic compassion, professionalism, and an understanding that people sometimes have real-life emergencies should not be too much to expect from a mental health provider. I left this experience feeling dismissed, unsupported, and genuinely concerned about what happens to patients who do not have the ability to immediately find another provider. I would not recommend this provider based on my experience.”
