What patients say on Google
“My provider referred me to Arisa after we ran out of non-stimulant options to treat my new,y diagnosed ADHD, as she could not prescribe stimulants. I went to “intake,” after calling them, and started seeing a counselor at Arisa in Dec 2025. I continued to see her every 2 weeks. They also made a meds mgt appt with a nurse practitioner, Kaitlin Hartman in January. She had me do the GeneSight testing for med compatibility. At that time she also stated that she did not know if a doctor at Arisa could prescribe stimulants. I assumed she would find out. I never heard back after that (they told me I would receive the results via email if I provided it, which I did). I called and found out they had the GeneSight results for a couple of weeks already. So, they made an appt for me with Kaitlin. Going over the results with her, we found there was actually a remaining non-stimulant med choice that seemed appropriate for me. She prescribed it. But, I couldn’t pick it up at the pharmacy b/c they needed her to submit a prior authorization. The pharmacist said the prescriber would be notified. After hearing nothing after a few days, I called. Kaitlin submitted it after that, but it was denied (the med is very expensive). They wanted me to go thru a trial of amphetamines salts (stim) first. I spoke to a pharmacist at Express Scripts, and she felt it would be an easy appeal for Kaitlyn. But Kaitlin never appealed it. I called Kailin’s assistant and told her I would be OK with trialing the stimulants (after all, that’s why I was at Arisa Health). But I told her Kaitlin never verified if there is a physician that can prescribe it (nurses are not allowed in AR). She told me Kaitlin could, and that she would let her know about my call. I never heard back. Then yesterday (3 Mar 2026) the assistant left me a message that Kaitlin can’t help me and that “If you are looking for a stimulant to seek out your PCP behavior health clinic…”. But, they knew my provider had referred me there! First, they should have known or found out if they could do stimulant med management immediately, since that WAS THE REASON I WAS THERE. 2nd, They have been abysmally non-responsive throughout. 3rd, a simple appeal would have at least permitted me a trial with the non-stim med. But, evidently, they cannot be bothered. So, I wasted 3 months of my life there FOR NOTHING, and paid for LOTS of useless appointments. Surely, they can do better than this. But they didn’t. They need to inform my insurance that they will return the money they took for the visits, since they took those payments knowing they couldn’t/wouldn’t help me.”
“I like it, everybody is nice and chill, even though not everything is perfect this is the best place I ever went to for treatment.”
