How likely are you to recommend Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital?
What patients say on Google
“I am very disappointed with my experience at Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital. My adult son voluntarily admitted himself because he wanted help. After being admitted, he repeatedly asked to leave, but he was not allowed to do so. I understand that there may be medical or legal reasons why a voluntary patient cannot always leave immediately, but no one has clearly explained the situation to our family. I am his legal guardian and have repeatedly tried to contact the B-T unit for updates. Unfortunately, every time I call, the phone either disconnects, rings without an answer, or I cannot reach anyone. The lack of communication has been extremely frustrating and stressful. Families and legal guardians deserve timely updates and the ability to speak with someone who can explain what is happening. Better communication would make a difficult situation much easier for everyone involved. I sincerely hope the hospital improves its communication with patients and their families.”
“Terrible. Son taken by ambulance to Jax N Monday with schizophrenia, overdosed on pills. Now they will only say he's discharged. Won't give any info. He could be on the street, no phone, no ID, no money, just lost. They won't help. Not Jax Mem on 16th, no one answers at 151st and 27th.. No info, no help.”
“The only decent thing is the pb&j. Why wld you allow any of this? Why would you have doors to the outside and give excuses for them to not go out ever? You have tv on and on. Allow stealing and abuse of drugged patients and doctors who dont communicate and are conveniently not there during family visiting hours. Phones ring for hours. The ER doesnt tell you what ward they put your loved one. Its a waking nitemare. God bless the fire fighters outside the ER that helped me locate my loved one after he was transfered in only his underwear, via ambulance from MiamiU, great service, to that black box. They cld do better. Months later, we both havent processed what happened. Thanks for tour fast AI based responses. It really shows how much you care about patient and family care taker feedback. Your security staff is more warm than the people that loom after your patients. We all need some sleep. They dont even bother to stay quiet, either wake um up with anklets like prisoners or be so loud at 2am. You can do better. Be like the ppl that make the pb&j .”
“They are the Best and treatments are backed-up by all of the doctors involved. Two thumbs up for that.”
