What patients say on Google

“Dr Qazi is hands down the most narcissistic prescriber I've ever had. She's extremely condescending, disrespectful, and insensitive. She told me that I should start doing hard drugs and laughed at me when I told her my issues. My work schedule interferes with my ability to do weekly groups, so she said she will no longer prescribe me my medications that are necessary for my survival. When I come off of my antidepressants I pray that the symptoms of my childhood abuse do not come back. If they do, my blood will be on Iram Qazi's hands. Callous, cruel, disgusting. This person should not be allowed to work with people who have mental illness. She is a joke and a stain on the psychiatric practice.”

“Betraying, demeaning, and does not care. Makes assumptions instead of listening when you really need her to. She put a false diagnosis on my record for a disorder I do not have. When requesting her to wean my autistic daughter off of meds that were doing her no good, she blamed her home "environment" and suggested we put her in a group home. She has no clue about a common problem with autistic adults many families refer to as "meltdowns." She thinks what the inexperienced interns and other half-baked "therapists" they assign to my daughter know what they're talking about and we don't. She knows nothing about autism and simply does not care.”

“Absolutely the worst doctor that I have seen. I saw her a long time ago. Along with my symptoms worsening in her care, she tried to interfere by forcing medication and making threats of separating my family if I didn't take it. I have generalized anxiety disorder. I was a teenager.”

“Told her I was experiencing specific side effects from my medicine not only lied and told me the medicine I was on wouldn’t cause it. Went home and looked them up not only does my medication cause the twitching and shaking and tremors, those specific side effects are listed under “Tell your doctor at once”. When my therapist who I see weekly tried advocating that the medicine I was on didn’t seem to be working and also advocated a switch in psychs would be more beneficial for me as I did not trust The dr and that is very important. The dr. whom only sees me maybe once every 2 to 3 mths felt she knew better and dismissed repeated requests for me to receive a new psych: I feel listening to your clients is number 1! While yes they have a degree the client knows their body better than anyone and if they are telling you that something is wrong They should be listened to... I would not recommend her. She puts her ego before the clients and psychiatriy has no place for it! This is my life on the line not hers!”
