How likely are you to recommend Invicta Pain Management and Psychiatry?
“Every single MD I’ve spoken with has been phenomenal. They get 5/5 stars. The billing office/front desk on the other hand……needs a massive overhaul. For the past few months they have billed me incorrectly and when I call to discuss it with them I can never reach them and I just leave multiple unreturned voicemails. Two sessions ago, I was charged $150 after verifying before my appt that my co-pay was $50. 4 minutes later during my session I was charged for $150. I called to tell them and no response. So I disputed it with my credit card company and got my $100 back that way. Last month I don’t think I was charged at all. Today, I was just charged $110. Even if they “forgot” to bill me last month, I should be billed for $100, not $110. On my way to leave another voicemail and then most likely dispute it with my credit card company. It’s discomforting to know that with my card limits they could charge pretty much whatever they want and it would go through instantly and the fact that fear even crosses my mind is unnerving. I am entering the healthcare field currently and this is the exact opposite of how I want my patients to feel while they’re in my care. I’ve had issues with billing throughout my time with Invicta honestly but lately it only seems to be getting worse. I was told they have a company coming in to help them streamline their billing process so hopefully that will change things but I’ll be switching providers if I don’t see a change soon.”
“I would not recommend at all, I went in to be seen for adult ADHD at the southlake office and therapy at the Fort Worth office, I paid my co pay each visit and they both still trying to bill, I have provided receipts and communication with their billing department and my card was charge right after I told them that I was going to report insurance fraud. This is unacceptable and will never recommend any one to be seen because services are poor why I cancel my last 2 appointments that’s they are still trying to charge for. Rolanda Moody-Brown”
“Every visit I’ve had here I have arrived 10-15 minutes early to my appointment. And so far every appointment I have had, I am finally seen at no less than an hour after my appointment time. When you do get seen by the doctors it seems like the care and communication is at an acceptable level. Unless you are in your appointment you won’t get any communication regardless of how you reach out.”
“Been a patient here for some time and have never had an issue. Everyone drops the ball, messes up your billing, and provides a very uncomfortable patient experience. Recently, the front desk staff has become extremely rude, curt and not helpful. I have a card on file for copays, but has recently become a thing to not charge it and then I get a bill. Apparently you have to sign in AND talk to Sylvia. What’s the point of signing in? She is extremely rude, and if asked any “difficult” question that a front office person should know, you get “I don’t know, that’s not in my job description. Lisa tops Sylvia on the rude and attitude scale by a long shot. Doesn’t get back with you on updates for authorizations, and can’t verify insurance correctly. I was told that I didn’t have insurance and they had been billing the wrong insurance because when she called I had “no benefits”. Come to find out she wasn’t calling the right insurance because she couldn’t find the phone number in bold on the front of the card. She then proceeded to scold and blame me for her mess up. After doing so, the authorization sat there for a month before I was contacted. I have been trying to address issues/concerns of my own for a while but treatment options just go in circles with no positive result. Save yourself the headache and find somewhere else. I have already moved to another physician. This is a mental health practice which should be a place that provides care to help ease whatever challenges you face. However the staff does the opposite.”
