How likely are you to recommend Intrust Healthcare Counseling Services?
What patients say on Google
“I was referred to this place through the VA’s community care program. I had nothing but unprofessional experiences during my time with them. From being dropped by a provider mid session (because they were informed that they office was no longer taking va referrals) to my first provider including me in strange group text messages. Despite the VA sending the referrals, they still ended up sending me a bill for almost 500$ and told me, “can’t you just take it to the va??” Avoid this place if possible.”
“This place is a joke. I trusted them to help care for my daughter. There is a lack of communication within the administration. Paperwork is not important. Which leads to misdiagnosis...which leads to being prescribed the improper psychotropic medication. They lie and deflect accountability for their incompetence. This was beyond a waste of time and their way of practice puts children at imminent risk. I am surprised this place is in business and feel as though they take advantage of their clients. Poor example of a counseling agency and not recommend if you need engaged therapy that results in progress.”
“This place is unprofessional, negligent, disorganized, and any other words in that category. My doctor referred me here because I have been struggling mentally since my daughter attempted suicide in April. I needed someone to talk to. Someone to let me vent and remind me that I am NOT failing as a mother. Instead of those things, I was given the run around. I hope someone suicidal is never referred to this place because from the beginning, the lack of concern will definitely push them over the edge. Danni LITERALLY rescheduled last minute of my first appointment for a VET emergency. HUMANS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANIMALS!!! When the rescheduled appointment was supposed to take place, she cancelled last minute once again, with another excuse. So I rescheduled again. That appointment time came and it was yet another excuse about phone numbers and appointment times were mixed up. This place is absolutely horrible. Only giving 1 star because otherwise, my review couldn't be posted.”
“I truly regret even calling this company for therapy. I called, and asked for individual therapy for my daughter and I. They assigned a great case manager who my daughter and I both liked. My daughter was then assigned a therapist who would be making house visits which was what I preferred. This therapist was judgemental and rude to me when I was giving background info on my daughter, and family history. And after making it clear to her that I was not comfortable with the therapist going upstairs because she was a stranger, and I did not want a stranger in our bedrooms with our personal possessions; she continued to push 3 times to go upstairs for the therapy. I said no. I gave my daughter and her privacy, and when they were done I caught the therapist following my daughter upstairs. I being upstairs started coming down to block her from going up, and she soon left afterwards. I was extremely uncomfortable and upset by her disrespectful behavior towards mine and my family's privacy, and by her judgemental and rude attitude towards me. My next phone appointment with the case manager I requested a new therapist, and explained why. They asked if I wanted to make a formal complaint. I said no. Apparently I should have. After talking to her supervisor, the case manager asked if I would like to do teletherapy or in person for my daughters next therapist. I chose teletherapy because I felt that would be the option for right now. They said okay and said that she would be assigned a new therapist. Then a week later her case manager said that her supervisor had said that they could only do in person with my daughter or I could look elsewhere. I chose to look elsewhere. In regards to my treatment. I talked to 4 different people, and it took a month for them to finally even try to assign me a therapist which is when I found out they suddenly would not do teletherapy for my daughter. I told the case manager that I would be choosing a different therapy company for my daughter and I; because quite honestly it felt like I was being punished for requesting a new therapist who made my daughter and I both so uncomfortable. To anyone looking for therapy for their child, I would recommend a different company.”
