How likely are you to recommend Inova Psychiatric Assessment Center (IPAC)?
What patients say on Google
“Unprofessional receptionist when trying to inquire about services over the phone. I read the reviews, but decided to call anyway because honestly you never know and people sometimes have bad days. Guess this place has a lot of bad eggs/bad days. If your receptionist isn’t welcoming or polite, then how can you be trusted to provide therapeutic care? (15Oct2025 @ 1158AM)”
“I have mixed feelings about this place so far. It obviously seems to be a good resource for people that need more immediate help. I arrived at 8:15, and that was clearly too late. If you come, I would maybe recommend arriving at 7:30 AM— make sure you are the first person in line! It is 11:45 now, and I still have not been seen (I was the 6th person to arrive). I also have been “skipped” by two patients that arrived after me. Bring a snack, and a book, and expect for it to be an all day affair! Two hour minimum? Probably more like a 4 hour minimum.”
“I had a wonderful experience at this clinic this week. I brought my child with me to the appointment, and the staff was extremely accommodating. The front desk gave me tips on when to come in to avoid a wait, the clinical staff made adjustments to seating for my child, and the doctor even walked me in/out of the clinic to help me find a restroom with a changing table. Everyone was very kind and concerned and went out of their way to help us. As a healthcare provider myself, I was very pleased with my experience at this clinic!”
“I brought my 40yr old daughter to IPAC this morning. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. From my phone call to the checkin, the nurse and the psychiatric nurse practitioner the entire process eased my mind and my daughter got the much needed care she desperately needed. I am so happy I took a chance after reading the other reviews. Our experience was nothing like what is written. I highly recomend this office when the emergency room is not what you need.”
