Impact Outpatient Program

“So maybe I'm just the broke girl in the neighborhood? But I called to inquire about IOP for mental health ... The first time I called I gave my insurance info and was told I'd receive a call back, after waiting a few hours with no return call I called them .. I was told.. yes ma'am we can get you started today for just 10k ... Those words exactly... I was dumbfounded.. I continued asking questions about what is my insurance covering and what am I responsible for and I kept getting thrown in circles with a bunch of stuff an average person wouldn't understand regarding billing and insurance. I was told 3 times about the 10k (weird to me they didn't just say 10 thousand) .. can people actually afford this? And even so are people actually paying this ? I'm so confused 🤔”

“My brother participated in this outpatient recovery program over a year ago and is left with a mixed impression. I've decided to post a review as behavior exhibited by one of the therapist's has had a lasting negative effect on his emotional state. During therapy, my brother shared that he has a deep seated fear of being negatively received by others. Shortly after, a therapist named Kara exascerbated this anxiety when she shared her negative opinions of my brother to another therapist in a setting that was within earshot. This is totally inappropriate behavior for a therapist and has hindered my brother's mental state as he continuously strives for social acceptance. Fortunately, the other therapist, Josh, did speak up to discourage the inappropriate remarks and acted as an advocate. It may be that the lack of sensitivity is specific to just one therapist, but I am highly disappointed that this occurred.”
