How likely are you to recommend Illinois Healing Center for Trauma and Addiction?
What patients say on Google
“I have referred many people to this practice over the years and have seen the high level of clinical care they receive. The clinical director is top notch in the field and the compassionate care that I know is the priority in this practice make this an amazing place to seek out therapy. Highly recommend!”
“The Illinois Healing Center for Trauma and Addiction is a wonderful place. They are very knowledgeable and professional. Can’t recommend them enough!!”
“I am a first responder spouse and a person recovering from trauma. When anyone gets sick, I am the first responder parent. If you are a first responder family, someone with trauma, or someone looking for transparency and reciprocation, then this is not the place for you. At least not with the therapist I had. Have to cancel a session due to sickness? You will be charged $135. Does that therapist inform you of this charge for said date of service? No. Do they deduct the dates of service that THEY cancelled the DAYS OF the sessions from this fee? (Yes, plural.) Nope. It is okay for them to cancel sessions, but you will be held accountable at full price, with no option of a refund whatsoever. It was very triggering for my nervous system to find out the therapist I am supposed to trust charged me a $135 fee for a session when there was sickness in my family. My understanding is it is inappropriate to charge a patient (and also not inform the patient) if they call in a sickness. There was no apology or any effort to resolve this together. Other clinics do not have this ridiculous policy and never charge for sickness. It’s against their ethics. Most clinics are more accommodating to first responder families and survivors of trauma. You are better off saving your money and not adding unnecessary stress and disappointment by going elsewhere.”
“Got some great supervision here from the clinical director”
