“NP Delana Bongiavanni , as usual, was professional, genuinely concerned, caring and curious about our condition and medical issues. Like Dr. Brown and Dr. Sams she was patient oriented and made sure that the atmosphere was conducive for honest and open discussion about our medical conditions and concerns. She doesn't exhibit the robotic and cold reception that we experience with your Doctors and other nurses when we are unfortunately have to see them. They may need to need to take a refresher course in bedside manner and listening to the patient before rendering their diagnosis. It would also behoove them to actually read a patient's chart and history.”

“I normally have a great experience at this facility. They have changed office personnel and it is definitely not same. I came in for a wellness and had the sniffles. Front office staff wanted to swab me for the flu because it has been going around. You have to go back and sit in the car until the nurse comes out to swab you. I waited for 30 minutes for the nurse to come out and call the office to remind them I was still outside waiting. I waited for 15 more minutes and still no nurse. I walked back in and said that I was leaving, she asked if I was canceling, I told her no, they canceled because no one came out. I showed up for the appointment. It was hot outside and I have waited for over 45 minutes and I am sure that they have seen other patients since I have been there. No apology, no trying to make it better. Just do I want to make another appointment, absolutely not. I have waited in the car before to be swabbed, but it was never this long in the heat. The old crew needs to come back to run the office, just unacceptable.”

Delana is very thorough in addressing any medical concerns and she breaks it down so you can have a meaningful understanding. “I don't even give this doctor office one star but I couldn't leave a review without choosing a star. My experience with this office has been nothing but tiresome. Getting a prescription refill by phone is null & void. When I call, no one answers the phone & when I leave a voice-mail no one returns my call. I tried several times to get a refill by phone & nothing. My pharmacist even called, left a voice-mail, nothing. My coworkers can attest to my numerous phone calls with no response. I have had to leave my job & drive to the doctors office to get a refill on my prescriptions. I recently had an appointment in which I expressed my concern about not receiving a return call. The nurse, in a somewhat off handed way, called me a liar. I can deal with a lot from doctors. They are the professionals & know what is best but being called a liar from a check in nurse is more than I can take. I do not recommend the Byron office to anyone. I have read the reviews for this office & the doctor reviews are good but the process of seeing the doctor comes with getting through check in. I have had the receptionist roll their eyes at me & seem too busy to respond. I debated whether or not to write this review. My choice to do so comes from my heart, not my anger at being treated without kindness. I understand that doctor offices are understaffed & overworked. I have an illness I didn't asked for & I am trying my best to overcome it. If I can't find a doctors office that cares then yes, I will find a way to get better on my own.”
