What patients say on Google

“On a new medication regime and now my mouth is no longer in a state of Dry mouth and I'm able to sleep during the night! I love you Amelia Tomi! You've been great but I found a new place that allows telehealth and video appointments! And the doctor allows my input when managing my sleep quality and my quality of sleep!”

“Avoid this place at all costs. I battled tooth and nail here for nearly 5 years or more just to end up worse off than before. Some of the things I dealt with were not being able to get my medicine filled on time (nurse would not call in my medicine for upwards of 1-2 weeks every single month), I couldn’t even talk with my provider whenever I needed to unless it was an appointment I had scheduled (communication between staff is nonexistent) among many other complaints that I have about this place. A lot of the staff are either very unfriendly or just downright refuse to help, it’s as if my provider gets a kick out of not doing her job properly or at all…AND constantly forgets to send my medications in. There is just so much being done wrong here that it legitimately bothers me how nothing has been done about the lack of professionalism in how patients are being treated, and that’s if they even see you without rescheduling a hundred times over or listen to your concerns to begin with (without giving excuses a hundred times over as well). My mental health ended up being much worse by coming here and there are so many times that I can list where I would have panic attacks just having to communicate with them. It’s a gamble wondering if and when they will even get back with you at all and that’s definitely not okay when you are working in mental health services. There is so much more I could go on about with this place but that would take me weeks or more to type out. If you are a current patient with Hopewell Health Centers or looking for a reliable mental health facility, I highly recommend a much better place that I am going to now called Ohio Psychiatric Services. They are extremely friendly, professional AND allow you to reach out to your psychiatrist 24/7 all days of the week. They even reach back out to you within minutes! Never again will I put my trust of mental health into the hands of such incompetent, uncaring individuals. BEWARE”

“Completely unprofessional services. My counselor had to cancel and reschedule our appointments 3 times in a row to the point where I could not see her for over a month. When I put in a request to see a different counselor they said they would give me a call back. I wasn’t called back for over 2 weeks, and when I called in to check the status of the issue they said there was never a request entered into my account. On top of all of this I could not reach my psychiatrist for almost 2 months making it impossible for me to get my medications. Absolutely insane that this place is still up and running.”

“I'm a SSI disabled recipient. This hopewell discharged me from ever getting seen again. After going there for 20 Years without good cause. And I can't even count how many times they caused me to have withdrawal from antidepressants or antispycotics because of their doctors 24 to 48 call back policy. I had a horrible reaction to an antispycotic. I called for help immediately. And they would NOT help me. Told me I had to wait 24 to 48 hrs for a response. They called me to tell me to wait on being sick? Because their doctors are just to busy for us mentally sick patients. Don't go here. Unless you don't want to ever get well.”
