What patients say on Google

“My sister went here last year and was only there for about three months. She didn’t like the place because of the false information they present. The staff make it seem like they’re doing good work, but from my sister’s experience, it wasn’t anything like what they describe on their website or social media. She said the staff acted unprofessionally messing around, being foolish, and not taking things seriously. Because of how they behaved, my sister became more socially withdrawn, and the environment felt very overstimulating. It honestly makes me wonder if any of the staff are even qualified to be doing this kind of work.”

“Yeah, this place isn’t great. I’ve been here to bring some of the young adults I help who have mental health challenges for a tour, and the place is very messy. The staff are not professional, and both staff and members fool around. One time, I walked in and saw three people who I’m assuming were members rolling down the hallway and through the main entrance on computer chairs. They immediately stopped as soon as they saw me. I can tell this isn’t a place to go to get help or improve yourself. People only come here to mess around and not take anything seriously.”

“There is an abundance of goals and services that Hope Springs can help transition-aged youth with. From getting into the community and social skills to furthering your education and seeking employment, members can expect to better their lives through working towards goals. They host a mock-workplace environment so that you can learn how to better accommodate to a profession-based setting. The staff is eager and willing to help you with most of your goals including time management and healthy lifestyle. In addition, they help to promote health and wellness, socialization and supported employment to those that need it.”
Jeffrey Chamberlain
“There are some inconsistencies in certain aspects of the program. The members are kind and I enjoy interacting with them. One thing I would change about program is the amount of free /alone time that is given to members. Other than some minor issues, Hope Springs Clubhouse is a great program.”
