“Dr. Hines is unique. I've found it to be so helpful, for the last decade, to be able to rely on an MD as my psychiatrist. I've come to trust that he knows best, how to treat my symptoms, as a patient. Honestly, I don't even feel like his patient. I've never said this to him. Dr. Hines is Mr. Rogers in so many ways. He's understanding. His patience is remarkable. In my hardest of times, Dr. Hines has been there. I go on and on, because he's the only person who's ever made me feel like this way. He's like an older brother most of the time. He uses this connection to better understand my symptoms and allow me to offer him the trust he deserves. Dr. Hines offers quiet, special, and deeply meaningful acts if kindness that I would never expect from any other professional.”
