“You know haters are gonna hate... People that don't get exactly what they want are gonna be the most pissed and leave a bad review... This facility is completely reasonable for the funding they get.. which is from the state. Is it the Ritz? No. Is it sufficient for an addict that truly wants to quit safely? Yes. The only reason I give it four stars is because of Dana... But she may have been having a bad day because she had to work on the 4th... No excuse, but I get it... Anyways the mass majority of staff were more that accommodating.. I want to shout out Amy - case management that helped me start figuring out how I could get my senior blind and deaf Chihuahua cared for. David - helped me resolved my issue finding care for my dog Fay - went out of her way to find me clothes from the donation bin so that I didn't have to wear paper clothes. And Anna - was in the process of finding Butters (my dog) a foster family if I found longer term treatment (that part didn't work out, but I'm doing out patient) she was also just super cool also. If you are chill and reasonable and don't act like a child you will be just fine under this facilities care Don't let the bad reviews deter you from making the best decision of your life.. you're worth it.”

“If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place needs to be shut down and I’m surprised it hasn’t been yet. I absolutely WOULD NOT recommend this place to anybody. They are no help. They are rude to everybody and give people different answers. They don’t help those people in there at all. My sister is there and the doctors at the hospital didn’t even want to send her there. They tried everything to get her somewhere else because this place is that bad. Please save your family and send them somewhere better. This place will drive people to kill theirselves and they have before.”

“I was admitted into Highland Rivers in Dalton,Ga and I couldn’t be more Thankful for that place, the staff is very accommodating to all types of needs. They Were extremely helpful with getting me get through a rough time . If yourself or a family member Is going through a crisis this is the place to be, The food they served was also very good for a state run facility. Thank you to the staff at Highland Rivers. You saved another life.”

“I'm only giving a 1 star because thats the lowest I can give. We sent my dad there to help detox from alcohol and he came out in worse shape than when he went in ( had to go straight to hospital from this place). This place is inhumane. My dad went from walking to not being able to walk after leaving there. Case manager NEVER called us the entire time he was there, only way we got answers was when we called to talk to him and asked the nurse on duty. They kept him so doped up that when we did call to talk to him, he couldn't even talk. Would never recommend this place and the state needs to Investigate how they treat people. I will definitely be calling and reporting them. The don't even set people up for aftercare for detoxing. Basically after 5 days your own your own.”
