“I honestly don't know exactly why everything runs the way it does here, but it's not efficient. The level of stress this place caused my child and I is off the charts. To start, we were told transportation was an option for working parents and that the cost was included in the price. When it came to scheduling it, they were pushing against it and really tried to bully me out of using the option. I work full-time and could not take off months of work. Additionally, the therapist would forget to schedule family meetings and throw them on me last minute; often asking "can you come in today at so-and-so time for a family meeting" while I was at work. They sent my daughter and I to the ER because she was "underweight" and threw the words "eating disorder" around and told her she could not come back until a ER doctor stated that she was healthy enough. The last straw was an aggressive voicemail stating that I NEEDED to bring my child in because she missed two days without a reason. I called both mornings my child was absent due to sickness and informed them she would not be coming in. I received an apology stating that the front desk person was out and they did not receive the messages. I know I'm missing more, but the experience was awful. I am happy to say we were lucky enough to get into a new PHP and my child is having way more success there in their first few days than they had at weeks in this place. Please look elsewhere for something so important because this is not it.”

“High focus is most unprofessional and the most unorganized unexperienced therapist I’ve ever seen …..No communication or explanation to the patients. All they want is to keep patients there as long as they can and scam people for money and not even putting any effort or care to their patients. I went there for 2 weeks and the price was $850 for 4 hours every day and they told me insurance will definitely cover. When I was done bill was over $12,000 and insurance only covered half of it now I’m supposed to pay the rest $6000 for some art and music therapy that was stupid and I got out of it worse then I came in to the program”

“My teen attended the IOP program which was run by Lyra and gained alot of self-awareness and valuable skills to help with struggles of everyday life in this crazy world we live in. She now continues with individual therapy and enjoys her therapist Lexi. I would highly recommend High Focus Center in Lansdale.”
